On fri. I got my first batch of e juice containing 70/30 (Vg/Pg) and I'm used to vaping Vg.I had to get up early on sat morning which I'm not used to but I was extremely disoriented, lethargic,Headache,Very similar to a hangover,But I don't drink. It lasted for a few hrs but did go away when I started drinking water.I do acquaint this to heavy vaping on fri,And when I went to bed my eyes were very dry.Was this due to not enough liquids and dehydration?? It was a very strange feeling like being drugged up.Haven't felt this since though,But I make sure to drink water now.

Being a heavy coffee drinker and vape head, I can contest that dehydration can be a big issue with vaping. PG and VG both dry me out. I have to physically make myself get up and drink healthy beverages to feel normal again. After lunch time, it really starts effecting me.

Gatorade is probably a good choice,Maybe better than water. But water is water.

We're very lucky that we suffer from being lethargic, itchy skin, etc when we are dehydrated as there are far more serious consequences in relation to dehydration in regards to our organs. Our bodies are an AMAZING structure that usually gives us a heads up when things aren't right.

Agree. dehydration can be a VERY serious matter. Last time it happened to me I almost wound up in the ER. Was off work for three days trying to get my body back to kinda normal. Listen to your body. It knows what it needs.

I drank 10+ cups java per and Coca Cola. When I first began vaping I was well aware of the dehydration issue but being the knucklehead I am wanted to test this “theory”. Within less than a week I had itchy skin, dry nasal area, sore throat, headaches, juices tasting funky and very poor vapor. I began hydrating and within 2-3 days everything was back to normal. Realize also, on its own, more than 3 cups of java or caffeine laced soda drinks can result in dehydration. I drink at least 2 liters of water per day, now drink no more than 3 cups java per day and find the taste of Coca Cola repulsive. Sure I had to make changes in my lifestyle but it was certainly worth it.

Good move as ice or lozenges are good as they get the saliva glands going.

I am hoping that is what has happened to me... Over the weekend, I did a lot more vaping than usual. Have had a sorta sore throat. Been drinking lots of water all day today and it feels a bit better... But that may be part due to the ice I am munching on too...
