Wash new coils?

Not a dumb question. If you take the effort of washing the tank, you might as well wash the coil. If you have dried everything , I prefer to dry burn coils before throwing the liquid in. Just hit the fire button a couple of times for a second or 3. Blow out the air afterwards and only then fill with liquid. It will burn off most dirty flavor of a new coil.

Of course only do this with silica (the standard wick in all premade coils) not with cotton or most other wicks. Silica will not burn so no harm done there.
