Speaking of, what's up with that? Men DO look distinguished when they go grey. you guys have it soooo easy

Who could argue with such sound logic! I actually do agree, as do many other women. I wouldn't give up a single gray hair. I love them, and I have earned every one of them. Of course, they sprinkle my hair now...my opinion could change when I become predominantly gray. Only time will tell!

It's not about how we actually look with the gray hair but the confidence we exude regardless of it.

For anyone the ability to pull off a specific look is the deeply rooted in their ability to own that particular look.

I'm not ready to own the look. Only my stylist, and my husband, knows what my natural color is anymore. :D

Hey, the girls not ready! I don't have any grey yet but you bet I'll be covering it up when it happens. Or maybe I do have grey but my hair is naturally blonde so I just can't see it? Either way. No grey yet for me.

I gave Rick a gift certificate a quite few years ago to have his hair colored. He had just started getting really gray. If the stylist does it correctly, it still looks natural by leaving the right amount of gray visible. He did this for quite a few years. Then it was decided to just let it go natural. So the last couple of years he has been totally gray now.

It is different for girls. Unfairly so, but you guys have your advantages, too...

But I have younger guys tell me all the time that I should dye my hair, or make "getting pretty gray there, you might wanna take care of that" comments. A guy I work with made such a remark and his wife quickly and pointedly corrected him. There was an extended, awkward silence afterwards. For them, at least, I was not entirely silent. LOL.

I'm telling you it's all about the confidence. Right now you're owning it. Keep it up.

Don't let society's standards dictate how you view your own glorious mane.

That explains this, then:

I'll get you the Ambigram if Ocey hasn't already.

It's in .jpeg form for highest quality and ease of use. Maybe Ocey has one that's better.
It will need to be converted to a .gif before it can be used in a sig (for anyone thinking about using it "as is."

It was fun reading those blasts from the past!

Hey everyone! Been working all weekend. What's the update on the group request? Do we know how long? I love this corner of the forum - y'all are so nice!! :D

We don't know how it takes. According to their form, they will notify the applicant one way or another, either Yes or No. I'm sure as soon as Ocelot gets notification, she will announce it. :)
