If the FDA does in fact stop the importation, someone will develop a do it yourself kit to which you can make your own product. hell, they explain how to make bombs on the web, so I am certain someone will come up with a working contraption. Maybe it wont have the led, but essentially it is just a rechargeable battery, atomizer, and cartridge. The batteries we can get, we can get all the empty cartridges we want. We will just need a way to make our own liquid. It can't really be too difficult!!

The hardware is not illegal. I can order 'parts' to assemble a fully automatic weapon very easily. The individual 'parts' separately are not illegal, however selling a completed unit that violates the law is.

An atomizer is not illegal.

juice without nicotine is nothing more than a flavoring and not illegal.

Synthetic nicotine is not derived from tobacco, so how can the FDA, ATF, or anyone else regulate it?

And as everyone had already pointed out, recreational drugs ARE illegal, and readily available.

So let's pretend the FDA gustappo bans nicotine juice... Are there going to be chemists running around stopping everyone so they can run an analysis on their carts? Are they going to ban Nicorette and patches?

Head shops are still around because pipes, bongs, hookahs, etc. can be used legally with a legal substance in them.

This is a giant cash-cow that is not just going to go away regardless of what laws are imposed. Someone mentioned prohibition earlier, you see where that went.
NO MORE LIQUOR!
hey wait, everyone still has liquor
I SAID NO MORE LIQUOR!
sir, this isn't working
OK, YOU CAN HAVE YOUR LIQUOR BUT YOU WILL PAY ME A TAX FOR IT.

Ban it, tax it, whatever... I'll still be vaping it.

That's not true. The sear, the part that enables fully automatic fire in most guns capable of full auto fire, is illegal to posses if you own a gun it could be installed on if you do not have the proper government approval. Just having the parts, even if not assembled, constitutes possession a "machine gun" under current federal laws.

But, I understand your point, I just don't like how many lies and have truths have become "facts" about firearms and related laws (I'm don't mean anything derogatory about you). If we aren't careful, the same thing will happen to e-cigs because people are afraid of what they don't understand and our government is all to happy to prey on that fear.
