Hello everyone!
I came here to ask for help. For the past 1,5 years i've had my trusty kangertech subox mini as my all day vape but its getting a little... "tired" So time for a new shiny thing! I lurked for some time and settled on either geekvape ageis or tesla nano 120, but i am a guy who earns his check with hands and i expect that my mod will take a beating, and not light one.
so if you have either of them who seen some tough love share a pic so i can see if the body will age with class or end up like my subox beaten and scratched(and dented, and resoldered, and having second hand batttery cover, and bent a little) if tou have another sturdy mod i'll gladly take sugestions. it dosent have to be fancy or powerfull, just durable.
cheers!

I think the geekvape agis is a good choice given your profession. It was designed for that. I own a tesla nano 120 and I really like mine. I've dropped it on occasion, but I put a silicone sleeve on it. It's certainly sturdy, earlier models (and I think some colors) have had issues with the battery doors popping open unexpectedly. I will say that's why I got a sleeve for mine, but I had very tiny toppers on there and once I put a 4 ml capacity RTA on there, the problem was solved. I am theorizing (but don't really know) that the increased pressure on the 510 pin somehow made the door "click" into place, but it's just a theory.

I think the problem was fixed on newer models, but that would still be the one con I would watch out for. If you can bring another battery with you (or don't need more than one for your work shift) then I think the geekvape mod would be a great choice.

Yea, looked at that thread. i was expecting some pictures of strongly used mods so i can see if they hold up, im more on the side of tesla given its solid form, I worry that the aegis sticker may come off in contact with grease or solvent of some sort and i dont want my mod end up like kbox where is almost shame to pull it out in public. The sleeve is good idea, even if only for when im at at work

I hope you enjoy it and as a fellow steampunk nano user, I think you will. I love the vape, it's heavy enough for me to "notice" it more (meaning I am less likely to drop it) and even with the silicone sleeve (I got mine off ebay) that thing isn't tippy easily if you put it down somewhere. It's a great vape, and I'm really happy I have a couple, it's part of my daily rotation and leaves the house quite often with me.

Best of luck, and do report back :)

Well, i decided - tesla it is. The finish looks more durable and thats my concern, im not afraid of the thing breaking (im pretty good with soldering iron) but of it becoming monstrosity like my kbox. thank all of you for help and expect report on how it will hold up in my hands.
cheers
Welcome and glad you joined.
The Tesla looks like it will mask most of the dings it will probably get, good choice.
