Hey guys,
I just wanted to fill you in on the site running awfully slow. This problem is being fixed by our providers.

I have been receiving updates by email on the matter periodically through out the day.
For the latest news:

Hi:

We just confirmed the time with Rackspace (3PM CST Today 12/7) and we will be moving your stores database at 3PM CST today. Please be advised, there will be a brief downtime of roughly 30 mins as we move your store's database to a new server to ease the load of the existing database servers because of the additional stores holiday shopping traffic.

Once this process is complete, you will see a huge difference in your stores pages loading. Thank you for your continued patience as we resolve this issue.

Thanks,
CoreCommerce Support Team

It is much more responsive now that they've put you on a different DB server, but there's still bunch of repeated <html> tags at the top of each document... right-click view source to see what i'm referring to... up until line 1651 the same 35 lines are repeated 40+ times.

<html> // followed by 34 lines
<html> // followed by the same 34 lines
.... that same block is repeated 40+ times
...
... then finally the actual document contents

Since taking up vaping again, i've been a dripping instead of using carts. I wish i could place an order for some LR801 minis... guess I'll have to get the full size guys instead... i recently cracked open my last remaining unused LR801 atty (after the LR901 and LR501 attys I had been using for while finally went kaput)... yikes... i'm running dangerously low on attys.

Hey Madness, your back on vaping? I hope all is well my friend and that your on 0 nic atleast.
I dind't get a chance to go to sleep yet because of trying to remedey these problems. Emails and access alike were cut off. I got the emails up, site is starting to move, but is seriously lacking with IE. Firefox and Chrome are up and going smoothly from what i can tell.

I was on last night for a brief while last night. The site has improved but it is a far cry from being OK. I know you did not want to hear this, but I am getting a flash after the page/new pages have loaded with Firefox. This is not as bad as it once was, where before I would be getting several flashes/blinks.

I have no clue wrt HTML coding etc... I can only report what goes on when I visit IkenVape, and something is still wonky. I have no choice but to use Firefox as I run a Linux box. OTOH your site is the only one that acts up.

Yes, I had stopped for a couple of months and became a snus'er, but have since realised that switching to a more addictive and carcinogenic tobacco product was a step in the wrong direction... so vaping again... not a 0 nic, but low (10mg'ish).

Just visited the site with IE8 (generally i use chrome), seems to be functioning with IE8. Sending you good vibes around getting the site into the shape you want... and hoping the attys/cartos/batts i'm hankering for show up there soon'ish :)

@switched, have you given chrome/linux a whirl?

Wow, I don't believe this but with IE8 it seems to be fine but with chrome it is still slow, better that it was, but slow. At least I don't have to click on something then go surf on ECF while I wait for it to load the page like the other day.
The reason I went with chrome is because IE8 wouldn't work right. I had Microsoft spend two weeks trying to get it to work right then I finally told them I'd just use chrome. Maybe I'll go back if it's finally working right.

Google Chrome for Linux - Terms and Conditions Agreement

Slow but no more blinkies. Thanks VM I've bookmarked it. Being on a Linux box, I don't want google to install nada. Different story on a download and install. I'm not fussy on an accept TOS and install.

Isaac is the only site I am/or had problems with, so it isn't my end. Sorry Isaac I know you didn't want to hear this.

back to VM,

Yup! I like the statement I was a snuser LOL. Yeah I am glad you can continue to vape, snus = bad stuff, but far better than the alternative.

Thank you guys for your feedback! I think I may of fixed it. Tech support sent me a few links to look into, but are baffled because they don't see the flickering effect either. Would anyone mind giving it a check and letting me know?

Site is functioning fine and is reasonably responsive... but still you've got the repeated <html> tags and repeated <link> tags... when you 'view source' do you see what i'm referring to in there?

I see it Mr Madness, but when I go into the actual editor, it's not there
EDIT Got it! The Header.tem.php had the duplicates! Please give it a shot!
