Weird Taste Using Flavorings With Alcohol

Every time I use a flavoring with alcohol in it i get a weird chemical taste. Would not be a problem as I don't have to use it but a lot of my flavorings have alcohol in them it seems.

Is their anything I can do to get rid of this weird chemical taste?

Let the mix sit uncapped for 24 - 48 hours to evaporate off the alcohol.

I was just going to say that, Vienna Cream by FA, everyone said how wonderful it is but all I get is an acetone smell and flavor. I let a mixture steep for 6 weeks and still Acetone..why does everyone love it... I wondered. Then i left the cap off for 2 hours and the acetone was gone and this delicious flavor came through.... Amazing.... Great luck... Love to all... Kim

While mine sits there uncapped and with the dropper tip removed, too, for a day or 2...I also give it a good shake a few times each day. I just cover the opening with my finger to shake it and cause lots of bubbles. Seems to help it evaporate off even faster for mine.

The wider the bottle neck the faster it will evaporate. Mixing lets say 30mls of alcohol based mixes in 3 - 4oz mason jars seem to dissipate alcohol the best because they have a much larger surface area.

My NudeNic flavorings need to breath for awhile because of the alcohol. Just leave it uncapped for at least 12 hours, and maybe as long as 2-3 days, to let the alcohol evaporate.

I can't even do NN flavorings because for me the harshness never went away. The flavor was great... but wicked throat hit. So weird.
