Right on Mike Your going to fit in well. I'm happy to hear your going for the VV stlye of vaping.

Thanks 5cs. Been vaping the Vari for about a month and VV is where it's at man. I really believe the infinity will round out the collection nicely. I like the smaller size vesus the vari and it will certainly be much stealthier when out and about in public. Seems like someone is always bringing cool stuff to market at a lightning pace now. Exciting times for this vaping hobby of ours!

They're pretty much all made at one of two places anyway. Everyone just sticks their name on them. Ikenvape has his made to his own specs. I have one of his and it's the best one I've ever used but it's not 510. I use cartomizers 99.9 percent of the time. I think Bovinia uses Bruces from Clouds of Vapor and if he sells them you know they are good. I've dealt with him for a long time and he is a real stand up guy that knows his products. Ikenvape is also a great guy and I love the products of his I have used but I haven't used any of his attys except for the 801 mini and it is killer. I hear his 306s are great. At least everyone is raving about them. I have never tried them though.

OK ~ I just received IKV mega 808's and a mini 801 today. My previous forays with attys had left me wanting but read good things about these. And I can tell you the mini 801 is like nothing I've ever tried before. This is a FOG machine :vapor: I always thought I had good VP with my cartos, but this produces so much more. I'd always assumed the camera added to vp in the review videos but this unit does just that. I don't think this will be my all day device, but sitting here tonight it's been as good as a vaping experience as I've had.
I think I might have found Monty Python's Holy Grail ~ A Buzz + IKV Mini 801 + BWB Applewood :2cool:

I know I keep mine sitting here next to me but like you I don't vape it all the time. When I'm in a hurry to try some juice or waiting for a carto to fill I throw it on. I'm too much of a carto guy to use it full time. Wait until you try the 801/510 Fusion. It is a fog machine extraordinaire. It lasts forever too but as all cartos I hear it don't like VG or dark liquids. It is my favorite one.

Hmmm, is that why I've never had luck with cartos? they don't like VG or dark liquids? I get 50/50 PG-VG mix and I love the dark colors... :) guess I'll just stick to drippin':vapor::vapor:

Especially VG unless you thin it down with distilled water or something. Really dark liquids don't migrate through the filler very well. It might be okay with the E2s and CE2s I don't know. If you are happy with dripping I'd stick with it. No sense fixing it if it isn't broke.

LOL, true 5CS.. I really enjoy dripping, haven't found anything else that compares... but always on the search for the thing that might just be a little better, aren't we all? ;) but I gotta stick with my VG, juice with too much PG in it just doesn't agree with me. Thanks for that bit of info though... saved me a little money there :)

Mike#2 I'm with you...I mix my home brew with about 40% VG and the cartos I use don't have any problems wicking it. I don't thin it with distilled water or PGA and I put out enough fog to have to still crack my car window or I can't see the road LOL. But in 5C's defense, I couldn't get that same performance out of Iken's cartos. They do not like a high VG ratio. Maybe it's the brand of VG I use or maybe it's CoV's cartos...but whatever it is, it works great for me.

Funny, I was out of my favorite juice so when I made some this morning I decided to try it at 80% PG for a change and it isn't tasting nearly as good to me. I'm still getting decent vapor but I'm missing the extra sweetness and velvety mouth feel that the higher VG gives.

Got a Mega 808 and a Fusion loaded now....Mega is loaded with Carmel @50/50 and the Fusion 60PG/40VG...Waffle.....Both custom El Dee mixes with the purest of everything....Vapor clouds aplenty and wicks like a dream.....

Had to give the SLB 901 a decent burial earlier...Dripped @ 40 ml straight thru until I killed it...Got a 3.5? Iken 901 too try...Heavy research indicated it may be a showstopper with the way it's wound..I'll be sure to post my findings....Pacing waiting on the Drip 510s....I hear they're near...

on the next one I think I'll just pull out the wicking material and leave the bridge in place to help keep the juice outta my mouth LOL, ordered some longer drip tips also.. that should help!:)

I just got my first 306 this week and the wicking material was half out, anyways, so I pulled the rest out. I am NOT an atty expert at all, but I am pleased with how this is working for testing juices. I find that it rinses exceptionally well between juice flavors when I am doing back to back tasting with a bunch of new stuff to try.

I've been rinsing it under hot water, blowing out the excess, then doing and Everclear rinse, blow it out and then a quick dry burn very successfully (at least IMO).

To my atty-user friends, does that sound OK? I'm open to suggestions if there's a better way....thanks!

That's more than ok, Pokey; if anything, it's borderline OCD. All I do is 5 minute rinses in 91% IPA—maybe 2 or 3 times throughout the day—then blow them out (I don't find overnight drying to be necessary; I just blow until I pass out, wake up, it's a new day, birds are singing—it could have been overnight for all I know). I can't see wasting good liquor when good ol' 99¢ IPA works well enough.

Mike #2, you might want to try these from Cherry Vape: Cannon | Drip Tips | E- | Cigs | Cigarettes | Cisco 306 | Cherry Vape

These are the longest 306 tips I've ever seen (although the mobile artillery setup isn't included).

BTW, I just ran across some 2.2 Ohm 306s: http://www.avidvaper.com/products/306-Atomizer.html
EDIT: except that they're out of stock, of course...

Ahh, I've been accused (and rightly so) of that before, lol. Thanks PI!

So, now that I'm past the PJ drinking stage of life, what do to with this very small bottle of Everclear??????

Switched did quite a review on cartos and VG and said you need to thin it with Distilled Water for it to go through the filler in cartos. I guess if your dripping it doesn't matter because you keep the heating element area pretty moist when dripping. I use my drip tip cartos the same way I do with all my cartos. I gave a couple boxes of my 510 boges to a frind of mine, this morning, that got sucked in to the Prado thing. Them are wierd. They have a 4081 thread but it is adapted to 510 because the charger has a 510 thread. The carts just slide on and a Qtip has more filler than they have. It's a bass turd setup. I gave my friend 2 510 batteries and a charger too.

Hey El Dee....call me Frazier. Yea the stinkys are VERY noticeable right now. Can even smell someone smoking in the car next to me! I didn't go with the Buzz like I'm seeing on here. Being a n00b, went with a 501 kit from ZeeCigs which should last me a while. Will look into other stuff but prefer to stay with the cig type rather than something that looks like I purchased it from Mac Tools :2cool:
