Great reading some info about people who's posts I see all the time! :)

Lori, 44.... Fifth generation native Californian.
Another "not young" one. Started smoking at 17. PAD until May 2010, when I saw a cheap ecig set up at my local smoke shop. Bought it a few weeks later, hated it but loved the idea. Found ECF on the web while researching better PVs - and visited almost every day since!
Stopped smoking analogs on June 1st. After many, many mod purchases from classifieds I finally bought a used Buzz (then another when I wreaked the first in my dogs water bowl - hmm, still need to get that one fixed). Now it's the only PV I use - and have passed on my others to friends to start them vaping in the right way.

My hubby of 23 years and my kids are ecstatic about my switching to ecigs, and we all talk to smokers we run into about it and give out cards for ECF. I've "met" a lot of fantastic people through this site. I really believe that the support network on here is amazing! :)
Great Heartisan, That sounds allot like my own story except I started smoking a little earlier. This is an amazing forum and the Notcig forum is the best sub-forum of all. So happy you can join us here. Just keep on Buzzin.

Can I pppplease join??! ;) I've been reading everyones intros and feel like I belong. My name is Sylvia, I live in WV now, am 48 years young. I bought my first e-cig at the smoke shop over a year ago, didn't like it very well, then lost it. Decided to get another one because of my job, I'm on more trips and deal with the public more and didn't want to smell offensive... THEN I found ECF! Started dripping and I've been a solid vaper since Oct 10, 2010! Woot, got my sister to try, she really fought me at first, but now she's a vaper also for 3 months!! I have order my ∞ yesterday morning so I'm in the receiving lines. So CAN I JOIN, can I, can I, huh??! Love you guys!
Oh, I smoked for over 35 years :(

We need more drippers like you around here. There's an imbalance of power in favor of cartomizer users that you can help correct :)

I've tried a few, Sylvia. The Boge 510 in particular? Maybe not. Also, none of the IkenVapes that get raved about. Just lately I gambled $12 on a 5-pack of Clearomizers; they were an improvement—I wasn't hacking up a lung for 20 minutes—and the vapor was pretty good, but the flavor was...well, what flavor?

Just so you'll know I'm not a closed-minded, dripping chauvinist, I've signed up to be notified by IkenVape that they've got stock again; when they do, I'll give it one more try. But that's it.

I haven't tried IkenVape's but I have read good things. I change my juice every few minutes so dripping is waaay better for me but I do keep 2 pv sitting beside me as well with my standby flavors locked and loaded in them and switch constantly.
And let me know how you like them! If you like them I probably would love them ;)

Bovinia Us girls gotta stick together ;)

Hi all, My name is Mike... I believe I'm 46 but not sure as my wife isn't here to ask right now :) I smoked for 33 years would occasionally hit the 2PAD mark, usually 1.5... like thats any better LOL. I got my first PV in April '10 ... never had another analog since :) it all started when my daughter posted a link to "Blucigs" on my facebook page... looked pretty cool, I like gadgets! as with everything, I tend to over analyze/research things.. well in this case it worked out good because I found ECF and did NOT buy a blu.. got a 510 instead, that did the trick for several months then I moved up to an eGo.. which I still have and enjoy, but I have been searching for a "Mod" for a while now ( over researching again LOL ) had my eye on the Infinity and when Mike posted that he was taking pre-orders I went for it!! :) order #1025 Black w/brass caps :) absolutely can not wait to get my hands on it! and i am happy to see all you folks here are the happy, welcoming sort because I'll probably be lurking around here asking a lot of NOOB questions as this is my first foray into the world of VV vaping :)

I am very grateful to everyone here on ECF and people like Mike that are pushing this industry forward with his innovative designs! since I've started vaping I have personally got 9 other people started on it :) and I know some of them have done the same. I had tried most every method of quitting out there.. to no avail, until I found vaping I figured I would never be able to quit and would most likely die of some nasty smoking related disease! not any more...... :)

We need more drippers like you around here. There's an imbalance of power in favor of cartomizer users that you can help correct :)

I'll help tilt it back a bit too PI ... I drip exclusively, tried most methods out there and nothing else compares :)

Mike, and your going to love that Infinity. You will also love the best customer service in the ecig industry. Buzzkill not only makes the best PVs there are but he is also the one who invented Variable Voltage Mods that the rest of the industry soon picked up on. This is a great subforum with pretty good folk in it and I am happy you joined us.]

Glad you found your way over here, Mike. I was trying to steer you this way in that other Mod Owner's thread without being too obvious about it (nothing turns me off like heavy-handed proselytization).

Anyway, welcome to the Buzz Army, Special Ops (dripping specialists). Please wear your identifying black beret at all times, so to distinguish yourself from ProVari users, who wear one of these:

If we can't answer all your questions, there's another Mike around and about that can (this makes you Mike #2, of course).

Welcome home Mike! I think you'll find us a pretty helpful, amusing bunch here. Never be afraid to ask questions, some one here will have an answer for you. You've made a great choice with the ∞Infinity and Notcigs will always stand behind their products :)

Thanks Bovinia :) I know I'm gonna be happy with my Infinity! I've been out trolling ECF for a while now, trying to (over)research VV PV's and what I came away with is the fact that Mike has been the one to create/innovate this niche in the PV world... can't imagine anyone else can do it better than the original inventor! Judging by the happy, satisfied people hanging out here in this subforum and the amazing talk I have heard about the "Buzz" in a few other forums I frequent I know I made the right choice! :)

Thanks PI, LOL I just went over and re-read those posts in the other forum... you did drop some subtle hints! :) I have a question for you... as I am a NOOB when it comes to VV vaping, what type of atty do you use with yours? I got my Infinity with 510 connection, I have some regular 510's some LR510's and just picked up some LR306's, was hoping to use the 306's with the Infinity because they seem a bit disappointing on my eGo(mainly because of the very short drip tip, ordered some longer ones tho)... but it sounds like I should steer clear of LR atty's with my Infinity.
