I would physically go to the post office and speak to the post master.

I'd also contact the seller. See if he can do anything for you- maybe another one at a reduced price. He really should have insured that. No excuse for not insuring a $120 item when it only costs a couple dollars to do.

Yeah, bills just came in :(

First off, thank you all for being so caring and helpful.

So, I just got back from the post office. The carrier told me he never even went down my street. They gave me a number to try tomorrow, they said "MAYBE you'll get compensated, but there's no real way to see if you really received it or not."

It doesn't look good, and I'm not expecting anything now. I would like to thank you guys again for your support and the offers. It means a lot to me and I can guarantee I'd be much more upset if it wasn't for you. In the unexpected case that I do get any compensation or my package winds up at my door you'll be first to know. Thanks again, and let's hope usps keeps these problems to a minimum.

vape on, I'll be joining you soon enough

Something isn't adding up...how were bills delivered if carrier wasn't on your street?

Caridwen - The seller can't be blamed for anything here. insurance would not pay off in this case since the item shows as 'delivered'.

I regularly get mail from the same house number on the next street over. They get mine sometimes, too. I happen to know them, so we just laugh it off. If the carrier did not go down your street, maybe the people one block over from you got it. Go knock on their door and ask..

Had this going on in my neighborhood since I moved here 25 yrs ago ... complaint to post master only yielded "Well, give the guy (deliverer) a break, he's got eye problems. Huh ???
PO Box fixed it.

i have a very similar situation going on right now. i purchased a apv off the ecf classifieds last week. says it was suppose to be delivered on the 25th. its now the 28th thanksgiving. i called them yesterday and the lady on the phone couldn't care less and she said well that truck has already unloaded in Florida (from arizona), so for some reason the package wasn't scanned off the truck. gave me a claim number and said ok call back in 24hrs (which is thanksgiving and they are obviously closed). bla bla bla that same old story that we all know never goes anywhere. then the seller contacted them and they told the seller some bs story that oh the weather held it up plus the holiday bla bla bla. since when does rain hold up the USPS? what ever happened to, nor rain or sleet or snow slogan the USPS had lol. even now still says processed through phoenix sorting center 6 days ago and no movement since. in my experience this means so sad too bad. they have lost many of my packages. i still have a tracking number from 4 months ago that says the same thing lol (different state though). just a word of advice to sellers and buyers, if your going to sell something please please ship in a small flat rate box that the post office provides. its really cheap, $5.96 anywhere in the lower 48 states and you get FREE $50 insurance. so if they happen to lose the package one party isn't screwed. so long story short i went bought myself a different apv from someone else and i went and picked up so i dont have to deal with the usps and to make myself feel better lol. it might magically show up in a few weeks but i am not holding my breath. it was only $40 so i dont feel too bad, just annoyed.

I have an awesome update! I've been following up with the post office and received a call this morning, apparently the box was jammed underneath a belt at the sorting facility.

I finally have my VTR in my hands and this thing is amazing!!

Here are some pictures to show the rough journey this guy went through.

Thank god it comes in a heavy metal case, but yes I'm incredibly happy this thing actually wound up on my doorstep!!

Great news!!

One thing - tell me you have tiny hands or something. That thing looks huge - I didn't realize they were so big!

Nope, the thing is massive

Also, could easily knock someone out with this thing, it's heavy. But so far I'm loving it, uses a ton of juice in the iClear 30s but huge clouds and great flavor.

Ahhhh I'm so pumped right now

It is a lovely looking device and very pocket friendly with the recessed tank.

Yeah, that's the main reason I bought it. I love the MVP but get nervous putting it in my pocket with the tank sticking out so much.

It is a little heavy but I've been carrying it around all day and you get used to it.
