I might have to get one of these, even though im not that keen on the design. From what EvilZoe has said i fully expect it to outperform my KFL and if it doesnt i'm gonna hold EZ solely responsible
I don't actually know what a KFL is and I'm not comparing it to a cartotank as I've yet to even receive mine in the mail.
I'm only comparing it to the Protanks which are now garbage to me...lol
I'm getting huge taste and huge vapor where I spent hour after hour messing about with wicks and trying to figure out a way to draw on the thing.
I've got the Provari set at 4.0 and I'm vaping like I never did before. It's mellow, rich, and I haven't had a burnt taste or a flooded tank yet, even vaping constantly since I put it on.

KFL is a Kayfun Lite (RBA) and when working well are an amazing vape. To be honest, im miles away from getting the best out of mine because i am absolutely useless at wrapping my own coils
Edit: I used to really dislike the first protank, but found myself really liking the protank II, although i find that if i dont top it up when its down to the last quarter of liquid it starts gurgling and eventually leaking. These hypertanks seem to be getting good positive write-ups everywhere, and no problems reported yet so at the price they look like a no-brainer

The difference in performance is absolutely astounding. I mean, I went and bought a REO and cartotanks for the Provari because I wasn't happy with how it was working out.
Oh well, shoot, now I have to buy one. Zoe - are you using the regular Protank heads? I have a ton of them and I didn't see other ones make specially for the Hypertank.

I just bought one. I hope the purple kind of matches the ProVari purple. My luck it probably doesn't. I wish it they had a smaller tank one.
Kanger & Protank heads are now one size fit all.
As a matter of fact I use the same heads for Kanger, Protank, Puritank, Evod.... They made the change a few months ago.
This was important to me since I set up a couple of people with vaping gear. They not all using the same tanks.

What type of coil did you do?
I want to do the Micro coil with cotton wick
and some A1 28 gauge Kanthal Wire with about 10-12 wraps around a 1/8th drill bit. If my studying is correct that should put me around .8 - 1.1 ohms which I believe will work on the Provari right?

I am absolutely terrible at wrapping coils, but i am attempting to do one with a figure of 8 wick and around 1.2ohms. I got so frustrated that i just stripped a 1.5 coil out of a vivi nova and stuck that on for now though
Right. The Hypertank uses the Kanger universal heads. That's what I'm saying.
I've tried needles (threaded through the wick and outside it), drill bits, tooth picks, nails and im just hopelessly bad at it! I will get there eventually though. Someone suggested using a tiny little screw and actually using the threads to wrap your coil around and then threading the wick through it.. seemed like a good idea. I'm just going to keep plodding on with it until it becomes 2nd nature!
I'll probably give sub-ohm a try at some point, but i'm more into flavour than big clouds so the KFL appealed to me for that reason.
Michelle - I think we got the exact same one with the blue led
(i've got a wrap on the way from Greece for it though, not sure whether i want to put it on yet though, i do really like the satin black).
Probably both! I've watched loads of tutorials, vids, had loads of advice and just havent picked it up yet. When i see how small the coils should be i just really struggle to be accurate with such a tiny coil.
I've got big hands, Im 6ft4"... probably not built for building coils!
