Ordered mine on June 24th, it arrived a few days later... now it's dead. Atty won't fire :( I have tried 3 different batteries and 3 different cartomizers, but it's a no go. Not sure what to do, other than contact someone from Clouds of Vapor, but it's a damn shame that it died so soon- it really is [was] a great device.

Would the switch have died so soon? It seems rather ridiculous!

Same thing here, 1 really did not work from the start and the other worked for 3 weeks, mine are going back to be repaired.

When the 1 worked it was fantastic! So I hope they will be able to be fixed.

Did you get yours from Clouds of Vapor? Any idea what their exchange/repair policy is?

It's a bit comforting to know that I'm not the only one who had one die so quickly! I hope yours get fixed ASAP :nun:

I think Clouds of Vapor are the only ones selling it now, and they are good people. Call them if you have problems, I'm sure they will help you out.
On a side note: I'm surprised this little jewel is not talked about more on ECF. If you ask me this is probably the best MOD going right now
Oh, that's right--it's not a 510 3-piece, we all know ECF is "the forum" for 510...LOL!

I bought 2, one did not work right from the start.
The other one worked really well, we kept it clean and blew the switches out with canned air, wiped down and left it open at night on a regular basis as we were instructed to do, it still pooped out after 3 weeks of use....
I am not paying for repairs on the 1st one, I have no idea if she will charge me for the 2nd one, I am sending them both together, I have just not had time yet.

I am having some of the same problems. Bought one from the classifieds, the seller said that they had not used it, so didn't know it was not working. Came from Vaporflow and I have emailed them to see if they have any suggestions.

Just will not fire, have two other box mods same size, just not autojuicing and batts and cartos are working find on those, This one just does not seem to be working.

I am going to try the switch "wiggle" and check to make sure there is not juice down in the box although it does not appear to have been used at all.

If anyone has any repair contacts or any suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Thank goodness, I have plenty of other devices, so not down.

I am bumping this thread for the sole purpose of ME!! lol sorry but I am in the market for a bottom juice feeder that will work with 510 l.r. and reg. attys. Seems that when this device works people are luvin it. Have there been any changes to the design yet to fix the problems folks are having with it?
Any info or up grades...the price is right but not at only 3 weeks worth.

Mine just started acting up after about a month and a half of hard use. The other day I doused the switch with isopropyl alcohol and blew it out with compressed air, and it worked again for a bit, but then started to flake out again a few hours later. So last night I soaked it good in alcohol in a Cool Whip bowl, worked the switches back and forth, and got quite a bit of juice residue out of it. The switches seem to be working again. I added some glue to try to keep any wayward juice from gumming it up again, but don't know if that will help or not. Despite the problem, it's a great little device.

That's a real shame to hear because it does sound good when it's working.Even though I'm looking for a great little device, not a problem.

I'm really missing it today (it's sitting at home while the glue dries), back to dunking my carto every so often. Even if it is kaput, at this point it has cost me about price of 5 cigarettes per day. Well worth it to me for the convenience.

Only used my wetbox for 11 days now, works perfectly well, best PV ever, I couldn't go back to my KR808D-1, kept it but sincerely hope that I will never use it again. My wetbox makes more vapor than my KR808D-1, no trouble with it whatsoever and I do recommend it.

I'm not saying it's a perfect device, no PV is perfect, for example mine doesn't do the dishes.

What do you mean it doesn't do the dishes? It is a "Wet"...."Box":D I emailed Missy about my concerns and I'm actually just now reading her response. She said the majority of the problems are associated with using too much liquid and allowing the liquid to invade the switch. She also says that most of the people have had the wetbox for months without a single problem.
At the end Missy asks me if there is a particular problem I was concerned with.
I was wondering (Gods Goddesses Admin) if it would be OK if I bookmarked this thread and sent it to her. The price on the wetbox is right but I'm still sitting 50/50 on it.

So it's user error? LOL

It seems that the unit itself is 'allowing the liquid to invade the switch'. And why is the switch located right where the leakage into the box will occur? Everyone at some point with any atty/carto will overload the liquid. Over squeezing, over filling carts, over dripping... we all do it. The excess should stay outside. That's why sealed connectors and manual e-cig batts are preferred.

And what about the switch itself?
a bottom juice feeder that will work with 510 l.r. and reg. attys.
A standard Joye 510 atty will want to pull about 1700mA. A LR at 1.5Ω will want to pull about 2400mA. That little tact switch that is used is rated for about 50mA. So with a LR atty the switch is expected to handle 48 times the current it's rated for. These types of switches are also not very robust, they are not made for the constant activation that we subject them too.

Trying to cram the components into a 2AA box is part of the problem. There is no room for a decent switch, the switch is right next to the leakage point and refilling means carefully navigating the wiring. Leakage into the box is a design flaw the wooden bottom feeders out there don't have.

HighPing's mod addresses two of these issues. He moved the switch away from the juice bottle, placing it under the battery, and sealed the tube/needle atty connection.
