yay firefox! gooood movie choices! I personally thought I was the only person to ever see or hear about equillibrium. its one of those great movies no one ever talks about! can you imagine a world without emotion and music and art?

Hey I gave it a +1 when I saw it on your list. It was only out in movie theaters for like 45 seconds...lol
My understanding was it was released to close to the Matrix, however it has a good cult following, a friend at work told me about it when he had seen the trailer. I watched the trailer looked for at at theaters couldn't find it anywhere and then waited for the DVD, which I own. I really wish they would put this out on blu-ray.
All that said "ultraviolet" which was the directors follow up, was terrible! That really dissappointed me because if you watch "Equilibrium" with the directors comments, he said he wanted to do more with the Gun battle at the end, but didn't have the budget. He said he had big plans for a follow up in his next movie, which turned out to be "ultraviolet"..sad really because the Gun battle at the end, there is nothing like it in any movie before or since.

I used to work at a movie rental store. It was one of the movies in the sci fi section. I went on kicks of different genres. I watched gattica and equillibrium and other odd unknown cult sci fis. I just love Christian Bale mmmmm what a great actor! I cant believe the crap he puts his mind and body through!
