I've read up the issues on ihnaling artificial butter flavoring, but does anyone know the side effect of inhaling the various artificial flavorings/coloring we do now?

It seems like that might be one of the most negative aspects to vaping, if this stuff is building up in our lungs and causing problems, why not simply vape standard pg/vg mixes instead?

If I vape 3ml a day at 15% flavor concentration, that is nearly half a mil of "flavorings, colors, etc", albeit a substantial portion of that is probably propylene glycol/etc.

Are oils any safer to vape as they are a significantly lower quantity per ml? Or do they present their own issues.

First, we don't do medical - if you want to know side effects you're going to have to do your own research and decide upon your own. If you have a consideration on that, I'd suggest doing what you propose 'vape standard pg/vg mixes instead'.

Oils and sugars can affect atomizers adversely.
