When I started this thread "What Brand Analog Did You Quit???" I thought it would get a few posts.

I should have titled it,
"What Brand Analog Did You Help Put Out Of Business???"

I read thru the posts of all the brands, some I forgot I had smoked in the past and it's all success stories.

We have broken the grip of the tobacco companies.

I like this thread - I wish those who responded would add their current vaping flavor too. I currently have reduced my analogs (Misty 120s Menthol) by half but haven't been able to find the right flavor and nic strength to quit the analogs.

In reading through many of the threads it seems the menthol smokers aren't necessarily staying with menthol flavors. Or am I wrong?

As a former menthol smoker, i would have to recommend E-Liquid by Halo. (use coupon code: ECF4HALO for 20% off) The Menthol-Ice is very good, and although I haven't tried it yet, the NewPure is supposed to be very good too. I use the 24mg strength, but I assume that Misty's aren't all that powerful, so you might want to start with the 18mg at most. If any eliquid will get you off the analogs, the Halo will - try it now and thank me later.

I also got the Harley for those times when I want plain tobacco flavor and for trying to convert friends. It's a very good tobacco flavor on it's own and it's good for mixing with other menthol liquids to give them a real tobacco undertone.

Now, I really like the Blu menthol.

I guess I really need to give refilling a chance, but it seems like a hassle...

I rolled my own, menthol full flavor in menthol tubes. Occasionally I'd have a Djarum.

It's not that bad really. I do it, it's rather simple. From time to time you do need to rinse the filler out or replace it.

I loved Marlboro Smooths. I miss them from time to time... luckily for me, I never have a desire to go back. They were forced to add fire-safe crap to it and destroyed the flavor.

I hope to one day find the perfect juice to match it...

when I started, I could get a carton for $13.50 on a native american reservation in upstate, ny... A carton of Old Golds were 9.50!!!
1989ish - heck, when I moved to Delaware in 2001, a carton was still under 20.00.

I smoke camel turkish royal when I have money... off brand smokes and little 20 pack cigars when broke. I just started vaping today... 3 1/2 hours into it I have only had one analog and I am a 2 1/2-3pack a day smoker!

Marlboro Smooths, Newports, Marlboro 27's were my favorites.

I find the puresmoker menthol ice is approaching what the marlboro smooth was as far as flavor before the fire safe garbage. That made smokes taste really terrible.

Went from Marlboro Reds to Virginia Slims Menthol, to Basic Menthol and ended up with Marlboro Menthol for the past few years. After smoking around 2 packs a day for 34 years, now I am smoking 6 analogs a day and trying to quit altogether. Just looking for that almost perfect menthol ejuice to help me make it!

Started with Camel non-filtered as a dumb teenage kid... Switched to Camel Filters as a dumb twenty into thirty year old young man... Switched to Camel Lights as a dumb "enlightened" forty year gentleman. Quit on and off (mostly on) with Marlboro Lights since then... all told 35 years on the smoke, 1 - 2 packs a day, with a year or two off for good behavior.

Quit 'em all within the first day of vaping...

Now vape with a 510 and ECOpure Rich 25mg..
