Oh my, I don't even remember. My first smoke was probably a Marlboro or Marlboro Light back in the very early 80's. I started when I was 13 or 14. Never started smoking full time until 17 or so, then it was probably Marlboro Lights. Used to smoke at least a pack a day for close to 15 years then met my husband who didn't like me smoking inside so I started cutting down. After we got married, I got pregnant and quit for both pregnancies (I have two little boy's) and went back to smoking each time. What a dope huh? I started smoking Djarum (cloves) because my husband didn't mind the smell and would let me smoke them in the car.
Heard about e cigs on the radio (I am a big talk radio listener) and like typical me just ordered any old brand. They didn't even work and I cancelled the credit card so they couldn't bill me for more than the shipping. Started doing actual research and found V4L. So far, I LOVE them and much prefer vaping to smoking. I have had maybe 8 regular cigs since I started Vaping about a week ago but that was only because I ran out of carts and didn't know about juice and all of that stuff yet.
I am amazed at how kind, helpful and overall FRIENDLY people are on this site. I actually had a member of this forum, bring me juice that he wasn't going to use to my work and drop it off!!!!!!!!!!!!! All because he read that I had ran out!!!! That is nice from a complete stranger!!! I had another girl on this forum, offer to drive a long ways to help me out, when she heard I ran out. AMAZING!!!!!
All I can say is, remember when all of us "smokers" used to go outside the bar to smoke and could instantly strike up a conversation even though we had never met before??? I feel like that is how this is, only better, because we are striving to make ourselves better and help each other out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this site and love the members on it. You all rock and someday I hope I can do the same for someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really new new new people - hang in there! I wish I had found this site before I wasted $9.95 on shipping for garbage.
