For me it was the Cowboy killers Marlboro reds. Then Camels, Then the RYO Buglers. I can't say I've quit analogs yet. Some days 1 others maybe 2. Hay I've even had days where I burned zip, zero, Nada. Guess it's the juice. I have not found what works for me.
But I do see an end to my ever so long relationship with analogs. I'm getting there.

Marlb Men Lts. Hit one for the first time in 2 months the other day (I used to LOVE the taste of analogs) and it tasted like I licked the bottom of an ashtray and swished it around in my mouth. I've never been so happy to taste something so terrible. I know now that part of my life is over, and there's no looking back.

Oh my, I don't even remember. My first smoke was probably a Marlboro or Marlboro Light back in the very early 80's. I started when I was 13 or 14. Never started smoking full time until 17 or so, then it was probably Marlboro Lights. Used to smoke at least a pack a day for close to 15 years then met my husband who didn't like me smoking inside so I started cutting down. After we got married, I got pregnant and quit for both pregnancies (I have two little boy's) and went back to smoking each time. What a dope huh? I started smoking Djarum (cloves) because my husband didn't mind the smell and would let me smoke them in the car.

Heard about e cigs on the radio (I am a big talk radio listener) and like typical me just ordered any old brand. They didn't even work and I cancelled the credit card so they couldn't bill me for more than the shipping. Started doing actual research and found V4L. So far, I LOVE them and much prefer vaping to smoking. I have had maybe 8 regular cigs since I started Vaping about a week ago but that was only because I ran out of carts and didn't know about juice and all of that stuff yet.

I am amazed at how kind, helpful and overall FRIENDLY people are on this site. I actually had a member of this forum, bring me juice that he wasn't going to use to my work and drop it off!!!!!!!!!!!!! All because he read that I had ran out!!!! That is nice from a complete stranger!!! I had another girl on this forum, offer to drive a long ways to help me out, when she heard I ran out. AMAZING!!!!!

All I can say is, remember when all of us "smokers" used to go outside the bar to smoke and could instantly strike up a conversation even though we had never met before??? I feel like that is how this is, only better, because we are striving to make ourselves better and help each other out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love this site and love the members on it. You all rock and someday I hope I can do the same for someone else!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really new new new people - hang in there! I wish I had found this site before I wasted $9.95 on shipping for garbage.

:)

Wow, memory lane here. I didn't know they still made Salem and Tareytons since I haven't seen them around here in many years. My first was pall mall unfiltered with my cousins in the woods. We almost burned the woods down and got into so much trouble. I played with smoking on/off but didn't get serious (hooked) until in my 20's. My fav was Winston 100s but last brand was Misty 120s.

It seems there are more menthol smokers if this post is any indication. I am so glad to be smoke free, I didn't think I would ever be able to do it. 6 weeks yesterday for me.

I started out with Newports at 17, but as time progressed, I started smoking just about any brand that I never tried before. At 19, I bought my first pipe and started using smokeless tobacco. Next thing I knew, I was smoking 2 packs a day, on top of smoking my pipe once or twice, then snusing when I couldn't smoke .

All in all, I suppose that I was just a baccy junkie, lol. Nicotine NEVER left my system. I'm now 24 years old and don't smoke, with an occasional(1-2) snus. I vape between 12mg and 18mg, but seem perfectly happy with that dosage.... strange.
