I started with Lucky strikes nonfilter then went to Camel Lights then Newports then Camel Menthol lights which I stuck with for the longest time. I smoked about every brand under the sun at some point I am sure tho, would try all the cheap brands to try and quit. I even tried on brand Eclipse which was basically a vaporizer cig.

I smoked Kool 100's for about 30 years and then switched to Basic Menthol 100's (they tasted almost exactly the same to me) for the last 8 years of my "smoking career."

As of January 7, 2010, I am now analog-free, and LOVING it! vaping has become part of my life--I still have a lot to learn, but so far, I am one happy old woman.

American Spirit non-filters for about 15 years. Before that usually Camel non-filters. Before that was a pipe. Before that was chew. I've had periods where I was chewing the gum as the patches never did anything for me interspaced among the years.

Vaping for, going on, 5 weeks, but it took awhile after I started till I quit smoking.

I like this thread - I wish those who responded would add their current vaping flavor too. I currently have reduced my analogs (Misty 120s Menthol) by half but haven't been able to find the right flavor and nic strength to quit the analogs.

In reading through many of the threads it seems the menthol smokers aren't necessarily staying with menthol flavors. Or am I wrong?

Wow, a blast from the past....

I started when I was 11 on Benson and Hedges (swiped them from my mom's cupboard)

Later on (about 15) smoked Lucky Strikes and shortly after (17-18) switched to Marlboro Reds. At about age 30 I switched to Sonoma's (can get it at Walmart, not sure where else). They were a good cheap alternative to Reds, albeit a bit drier.

Now at age 32, only a few days into vaping, I'm analog free from day 1 vape (hope I can keep it that way too).

When I started this thread "What Brand Analog Did You Quit???" I thought it would get a few posts.

I should have titled it,
"What Brand Analog Did You Help Put Out Of Business???"

I read thru the posts of all the brands, some I forgot I had smoked in the past and it's all success stories.

We have broken the grip of the tobacco companies.
