Well, I decided to get the 1100mAh Kgo from Hoosierecig. Great service btw. Placed order on Friday and received it Monday. Found a deal on Smoktech 1.5 mega dual coil cartos and getting some Resurrectors. Gonna see which I like best. All I need now is some juice to put in em.

Anyone know of a good mentholish type taste with a good thick vapor? A friend of mine vapes and had some PG Wicked Menthol from TW that I tried in one of the dualies and it was wayyy too too strong and almost no vapor. It was like inhaling Vicks vapor rub. Not very pleasant. I need something more average lol.

I was a Newport smoker and I vape nhalers nuport nhale/xhale. Still vaping it a year later. My nephew was a nuport smoker and vapes it too.

Well, it should be obvious by my lack of avatar and number of posts that I am also a newbie. I have lurked here since last November before finally taking the leap this month. My husband and I had decided to give up analogs as much as possible for our health. I wavered back and forth, taking heed of all the good advice I found here, looking at LOTS of different setups and mods. But I knew my husband would not put up with any complex equipment or procedures or some large contraption falling out of his pocket while he was working. So I was looking for a cigarette-sized device with an adequate battery and simple cartomizers he could change quickly.

After lots of looking and comparing, I decided to go with the Volt system. I made the decision because I would be doing any maintenance/training/convincing for my husband who is still proud to be a good ol' country boy in public. I wanted to get the kit with the PCC (personal charging case which carries and charges batteries) so my husband would be sure to have charged batteries when he was at work. They were, of course, out of stock so I went with the best they had and got the rest that I needed piece-meal. Ordered Sunday evening, package arrived Wednesday afternoon even though it was free shipping. Unpacked (everything there and in great condition) and began to explore the parts and flavors. He took it to work Thursday and I figured he would be using it about 50/50 with his analogs. He came home last night with the proud announcement that he had only smoked 8 cigarettes all day. WOWZA! From a pack a day to 8. I was tickled. (I had 3 but who's counting?)

We both like the Volt. Batteries actually last 10-12 hours for me and I get to vape all day long. Husband only used one battery during work but he only gets to use it at breaks and lunch. Extra benefit: he can use it in the small bathrooms on the factory floor which have fire alarms that respond to smoke but not vapor! I also got two pass-through sets so we could use those in the car. I got black batteries for him, colored for mine so we could quickly tell the difference, wall chargers, car chargers, sample packs, blank carts, end tips. We have had different reactions to the flavors, as he has no problem using RY4 as his fave while I am trying Menthol Burst, Ice Menthol, Mint but still haven't found anything I love.

I was a menthol pack-a-day smoker for past 42 years, starting with Salem, then on to Benson & Hedges, Virginia Slims, and finally ending with Capri Menthol. I will admit I am searching for a flavor I can stay with but as I understand it, that is normal for some menthol smokers. I will be buying some sample e-liquids looking for better or different flavors. But for us to be able to back off smoking, even 50% and more, is a great joy.

I know this is long but I hope it helps you with your choice. I am sure I will be moving on to something bigger and better and more expensive, but for right now, the Volt is allowing us to get a real feel for e-cigs and the change in lifestyle they require. I think they are a perfect introduction and will probably be our go-to e-cig for at least 6 - 8 months or until I save up enough to make the next power-up. The best of luck on your journey.

I'm so glad you and your husband are doing so well!

For others reading, the volt and other KR808's are an excellent choice. But regardless of the brand you use, you can't defy the laws of physics. You get approximately 1 hour per 100 mah of continous vaping on a new battery. That holds true for 510 batteries, ego batteries, all pv batteries. And that will decrease over time and the type of cartomizers you use. If you use low resistance, you get less.

The way you vape (I don't know you) you may very well get that long on a battery. But the average vapor does not. They don't get that long on a 650 mah ego battery.
