What cartos are you using " post bogegate"

Hey friends...

It is time to replenish my carto stock a little bit. Trying to decide what I am going to purchase. I usually buy Boge 2.0 LR in bulk from health cabin, but I am leery of doing this. I have had hit or miss boxes from as early as this past March from my last bulk order. I have thrown more cartos away than I care to think about.

What have you all turned to? I am leery of the smok tech because when I used resurrectors I had horrible luck with them being a stiff draw and burning all the time. I am considering going the route of a standard sized 1.7LR smok tech to put in my tanks.

I have of course tried ikenvape and they are always sold out when I check with them. What would you all suggest? Change to smok tech or risk a Boge purchase at this time? Definitely not going to do a big bulk purchase now, but I do need to purchase some if for no other reason than to try something new out for my next big bulk purchase.

There aren't a whole lot of choices for filler cartos. Boge, Bauway, Smoke Tech...

I personally have enough pre-bogegate boges in my inventory to keep me going for a couple of years or more. If I wasn't so stocked up, I'd probably take vaporbeast up on that offer.

Faced with the same decision, I chose to give the boges one more shot and ordered 3 boxes from Crystal Clear Vaping. Wish I hadn't. Only tried a few so far but they have all sucked. Not sure what I am going to do for replacements. Might try Halo. I got my starter kit from them, many mods ago now, and really liked the element cartos. They don't work well in a tank but work very well as a stand alone. Pretty pricey at 8.95 per 5 pack tho and no bulk option that I am aware of. That's the only reason I haven't switched over to them.

I have gone to Kangers for my glass tanks, I really like them. I have some Smoktech dual coil punched I really don't care for, only last about 3 days and the boges are just not what they used to be sadly. So far I like the Kangers, I have been punching two holes for them because they do best wet where boges seemed to keep juice in them longer, but so far I give thumbs up on Kangers. bnrk

Oh yeah, in glass tanks it is still the best vape around. I do have a couple clearo tanks I like but nothing is as dependable as a glass tank with punched carto JMO! bnrk

I switched to vivi novas for the time being. I have some 801 fusions coming in from avidvaper. I feel bad not supporting ikenvape, but their stock seemed weird and I was ordering some stuff from AV anyway. We'll see if they're okay. If they're better than the Smoktech (1.7 SCs) trash I was using, I'll probably order more and maybe give vaporbeast's boges a shot.

But, realistically, I'm getting a better vape from the vivi nova than the smoktechs ever gave me (or the one boge I tried) and the heads are lasting longer than I've ever heard of a carto lasting (one of the heads is over 5 weeks in service……used at least daily……much of that as my "only" device besides the flooding/burney smoktechs I relegated to backups).

I'm still getting good results with the Smokech punched LR dual coil cartos in my tanks. I have only had a couple where the air holes were drilled down into the threads, and one with the fill punch up top instead of where it belongs. I vape 50/50 and some dark juices so I consider a week good enough results for it's life.

I also use Kanger horizontal coil non punched on stuff like Helix and one of them is now 3 months old with some daily use. I am going to punch a few to put in a smaller vari tank I have coming and I expect good results and long life from those as well.

I have some Kangers on the way from MyVaporStore for my tanks to try out. After a lot of research, I heard that they are best if condom filled for a tank, and that they vape nicely. I have enough pre-Bogegate cartos for quite a while, but I have to try some others to know where I go from there. It's truly a shame about Boge.

after the taste goes away,,you can pull the filling out very easy and give a good cleaning and re-install or use as a dripping atty

A third punch in my boges in the tank has helped. Haven't used a bare Boge in weeks.

Then again, maybe I got lucky with the few I've put in tanks.

i don't like the lr kangers too much,,they have a stiffer draw and not as much flavor ,,SR's are the way too go even on an ego batt !!

I decided to quit mt carto habit cause I was always having problems with this and that besides chain vaping the wick dry so I switched to a bottom feeding atty setup and have fallen in love 3 and a half weeks on the same atty and still going strong.

I bought two boxes of 510 Kangers and they look like junk, the Ω's meter all over the place on them, so I haven't even dared try one yet.

I had a very plentiful stock of what I thought were pre bogegate cartos.....prolly enough to vape for 3 years if they all worked correctly. I wish I was kidding when I say at I can easily go through 5-8 cartos JUST to get ONE that works right. And then I am lucky if it lasts 3 days. Sadly these were all purchased this past March. I figure at the failure rate I am having, I could easily be down to a bare cupboard by the beginning of 2013. I am too OCD to dwindle my stock down too much. You don't wanna low how much nic I have sealed and stored in the freezer!!

I think I am gonna give the vivi and the kangers a try. I contemplated going the Bulli rebuild route but I really really love carto tanks and the mL the tanks can hold.

I just got the bottom coil Phoenix cartos from Got vapes..The flavor is a little muted (first day), but otherwise, I am impressed... Got tired of the Boges.. The flavor is slowly increasing though...
