Apparently, as in my case, if it's still firing it may be worth trying to save.
For the top drip tip sleeve. Use the screw on cap that came with your sleeve. Does not have to be the cap. Anything with a matching
thread will work. If you bought the sleeved version use the screw on cap that came with it. Screw it on tight and then rock it back and forth gently while pulling it out. Next use the same syringe tip you fill it with to remove the silicone plug. Insert the needle then kinda slant it and lift the seal out. Next remove the inner metal tube. I use a heavy paper clip with a hook bent on the end. Hook it under the top sholder and give it a tug. Most times you will need to attempt this a couple times from oposite sides before it works loose. Actually you may be better off removing the base with the tube attached and removing it later from the base assemby. Either way will work. For the base, screw it on tightly to an ego battery and get back to rockin gently and pulling apart from the tube at the same time. Some tubes are tight the first time apart, They may have used a drop of glue at the factory. I then rinse everything in hottish water. Dry everything off. Dry burn the wick. Careful not to do too much dry burning at one time or you will ruin the coil. At this point you can check the ohms if you have something to do it with. I have a gripper and a pro vari that do this. If all looks back to normal reassemble and
vape away.
