Hey not sure if this is in the wrong spot but I am wanting to learn machinery so I can make my own Atomizor mod,, I know it sounds silly but have been into this for a LONG time and want to create something special and since I have a scholarship I wanted to do something that could lead to manufacturing ecigs.. If any other engineers out there to give me advice on programs etc,, ? thank you

Check local community college or trade schools. A basic Metalworking class would be a good place to start. You will at a minimum learn the steps that it takes to turn a piece of raw material into something usable. Even if you have no intention of machining your own parts this insight will at least have the understanding to design parts that are "production feasible". You will be surprised how Much work goes into even the simplest part.

I am all about higher education. Keep in mind with the recent purchase of Blu cigs by a BT company, it is only a matter of time b4 this industry is so regulated that there is no telling what will be left of this industry, if anything, in the next couple of years. The trade you will learn will be able to be used in many diff applications besides just making the latest and greatest new atty. That will actually be an added benefit of the new skills you will attain.
Good Luck.

Whoa now, as long as you aren't selling juice you have nothing to fear. IMO Juice is the only thing that they can regulate... If you want to have a portable heater that is your business, or a flashlight with a 510 connection.:D you will probably still be able to buy juice just like you can buy a big ol' bag of tobacco. Regulation of nicotine liquid is sadly IMO inevitable.
Kudos on wanting to take things to the next level! :vapor:

hey thanks mike! I believe what you say as well and what everyone else is saying to BUT look at all the other "banned" or "illegal" items that are still easier to get than buying a case of beer at age 50 .. so basically I am not worried about "loosing" my juice as I will have a liter of pure nic saved which will last a lifetime.. I know it may put a crimp in things but not worried to much here as they have already let this industry go hay-wire and there is nothing stopping us now.. i mean you think they are going to say well its not dangerous its not bad but F-U you cannot have it.... They already tried that and look where it got them!

On a second note I want to make devices for the community but also get a job with it lol I was not just going to learn to make atties so you exactly write guys I will learn something very useful compaired to just building e-cigs :)
