What are they going to do? Go house to house and check your freezer? Although...since there will be an age verification system in place in August they could have you on a list if you bought 100mg base. That is why I bought some now. I'm picking up one more liter though before Aug 9th. I think tho, if you are "selling" your homemade juice and they bust you for it then it can happen. Like what they do in a drug raid.

Actually my husband reminded me of what they did to people who were in possession of raw milk in Kalifornia.

Yeah, they raided them co-ops with pistols drawn, for MILK! How you think the BATF is going to conduct raids in the future if a shop is out of line???

I can't help wondering what the Feds and States will do for tax revenue when they have taxed vapor products out of existence? You cannot have it both ways; either you want a revenue stream or you want to ban something.
It's hard to figure out what they really want, isn't it? In PA for example, they claim they want revenue, but they have to know the tax is so burdensome, few if any will be able to comply. I think it's possible they will lose revenue over this. How could they not know the risk? I have to come to the conclusion that the purpose of this tax is indeed a ban and that they are lying.

They've shown they're hand on that question. The FDA deeming and subsequent state tax schemes are designed to insure cigarette taxes will be feeding the coffers for generations to come :grr:

Well, you may be right. PA may well make up for and wildly exceed any lost vape revenue by newly increasing cigarette sales. Blek.

Cigarettes taxes didn't stop mass amounts of people from buying them nor stores from selling them. Most people see ecigs the same as cigarettes, so no, they didn't give a thought to the fact that the huge taxes would could kill the revenue stream they desire. I'm sure there were a few people desiring to kill our industry that realized what would likely happen that were only too happy make that a reality, but most, nope, only thought of it as another cigarette tax so all will be just fine.

So, they think vapers have the same mindset as smokers when it comes to paying outrageous taxes: "Oh well, nothing we can do but pay up." I certainly hope that's not the case. Vapers have science and sense on their side. They have weapons that smokers do not.

Yep, I do think that's what the majority of politicians think. :( Only time will tell if vapors have that mindset or not. Remember we here on ECF are by far the minority. This is IF enough vendors stay open for us to actually see if its true or not.

They are really just trying to kill open tank Vaping ... then BT cigalikes will provide them the revenue they are after.

Black Market for the win.

I guess the time has come that we find out how dependent vapers are on vaping compared to smokers and cigarettes. For many average vapers, they will be forced to change their routine to either pay much more or find new sources.

I do believe that many who vape may stop vaping. Some will return to smoking but some will not. For the latter group, vaping during these times was a godsend.

That's just too damned sexy. Everybody'll wanna vape.

(Especially the kids.)

Good luck! :)
