What did you smoke before vaping?

Hey guys. Qhat was your prefered cigarette/ cigar before vaping?

Mine were winston red 100s or pall mall reds with no filter

I can remember every brand I smoked (for more than single pack/cig) in the 12 years I smoked, of course I have a pretty good memory when it comes to things I wish I could forget

1. Started on my moms Virginia Slim Light 120's (yuck)
2. Then went to Marlboro Lights, soon followed by Reds
3. Marlboro Blend 27
4. Newports
5. Camel 99's
6. Pall Mall Reds

The last Pall Mall I smoked was on January 12th

EDIT - By the way, my preferred brand was Camel 99's at the end, but I switched to the PM's because they were cheaper.

DOUBLE EDIT - I also forgot to mention that when I switched to Pall Mall reds I always had a cheap little cigar cutter with me to remove 75-80% of the filter.

I think the last cig I smoked was one of those Kamel Reds on a night out drinking, but Marlboro Reds were my daily smoke for years.

Lol got the same problem

Started with 2 packs of red prince soon changed to red north states
Then i changed to filtered yellow camels
Back to north states then north state got too expensive and i changed to red L&M's then to red skjold since my woman smoked the same and i got used to the stronger taste after stealing her cigs when i was out...
And every time i had a cold i would smoke rocky mountain menthol cigs

Did homeroll menthols for a while and a some corn pipe with yellow sweet dublin and ln new years eve i would smoke a random cigar

I learned to smoke on Kretek cloves back in the 80's. Then I switched to imported Dunhills until the prices were ridiculous and I switched again to domestic Marlboro Light 100's. Then a friend let me bum a few of his Benson and Hedges Light 100's and I stuck with those for many years, occasionally going back to Marlboros or Camel Light 100's, though I did have a brief affair with some Canadian and Chinese imports along the way, and a brief stint buying cartons online from a Native American tribe in upstate NY. When California began to tax the holy hell out of smokes and the online cigarettes were banned, I started getting whatever the cheapest Light 100's I could get, usually generics. When I first started smoking, a brand name pack was just under a dollar, and the last pack of generics I bought before I started vaping at the end of 2013 (which I still have, unopened, in the freezer) was over 6 bucks.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane, though the whole process of remembering all that time I spent trying to slowly kill myself was ultimately pretty depressing. It did, however, rekindle the fire of appreciation I have for vaping, as well as all the people on ECF who helped me out. Thanks to each and every one of you.

I started smoking Camel lights at 15 then went to Winston lights, then Marlboro lights, then Marlboro ultra lights and 25 yrs later I vape.

i started smoking Benson and hedges Special Filters which name later changed to Classics Went to Dunhill red internationlas for awhile but they got upto like $15 a pack so i went back to Classics which were like $12 for 25 then switched to winfield blues (british america tobacco company) then the price of a 20 pac hit like $15 (they were only $10 wen i started smoking them) So i started smoking Rolling tobacco Dr Pats, White Ox, Drum, then i found winfield started doing rolling pacs so thats what i smoked for the last 3 years upuntill 3 weeks ago Now i dont smoke I VAPE AND PROUDLY!

Camel Turkish Blends. BTW, I've found an e-juice that is a dead ringer for the taste of the Camel Turkish Blends ... it's Yaeliq's Camel Plus. I was absolutely shocked at the realism of this juice; it was a real Déjà vu moment!

The cheapest I could find: Dural or something like that. They were harsh! I couldn't afford Marlboro's.
