I used to smoke Marlboro Light 100 Menthol with the filter torn off. Don't miss them at all! Now my favorite vape is DIY Absinthe because it tastes like Good and Plenty candy.

My progression through the years was a variety of menthol. Mom smoked Kools - so that was my starting point. In Highschool it was winston menthol - cuz no one would bum those things.
Marlboro Menthol was a long time fave.. *More* menthol breifly (those stick looking things) Virginia slims... oh.. my fave was Cameo menthols on a trip to Canada - man that was a great smoke. Most recently it's been misty menthols (they used to call them light.. not sure when that happened though)

I'm new to vapes but so far there is a menthol/mint/butterscotch mix that makes me happy.. so far.. any chocolate - esp the dark chocolate from highbrow. I have a tasty watermelon and a couple of tobacco flavors that I drip some menthol in with because the straight menthols I have are pretty stout.

I smoked Native Lights...a cheaper knock off of American Spirits. I did a lot of kidding myself in RE to these being "additive free" and therefore better for me. I bought them at the Indian Reservation, very cheap...$26.90 U.S. per carton. Occasionally, I'd forget or not have time to pick up a carton on my way to/from work and would have to hit the gas station for an "emergency" pack...in that case, it was Pall Mall Lights @ almost $6.00 per pack. (Native Lights only sold on the res).

I never even looked for a flavor to mimic my smoke...somehow I think burnt tobacco flavor juice would ultimately not sell that well...especially once the taste buds start to come back. I think a lot of smokers associate the smell of the unburned tobacco with the flavor of their smoke...in reality, the combusted bi-product is just downright nasty.

I started smoking when I was 15, I smoked Marlboro Milds on and off until about age 17. Was a pack a day Milds until ~18 and then started smoking Marlboro Lights (One pack a day) until I was 20.

I'm now hooked on my Provari

I smoked everything. I never had brand allegiance and enjoyed variety, which is why e-liquids appeal to me so much.

Common smokes were Marlboro Virginia Blend, Marlboro 27s, Marlboro 72s Full Flavor, American Spirit Full Body/Organic, Lucky Strikes, Kent Full Flavor. Every now and then I'd get a pack of Camel Crushes and turn them menthol half way through. I've never been a really big fan of menthol though.

Edit: Before they were rebadged/whatever, I smoked Marlboro Mediums a lot as well.
