what did you smoke before you started vaping?

I find it kinda funny.
Tobacco companies were producing more and more flavored cigarettes. When I started smoking there was really only menthols, and pipe tobacco cigars. Then came PrimeTimes and all of those other flavoured cigarillo things. I think the main consumer was underage and new smokers, but everyone I knew who smoked them hated regular cigarettes. They would kill to vape, to have the huge flavor selection at their hands that we do. But many of us just want to a liquid similar to our old brands.
I have given up the hunt for tobacco flavored liquid. I wouldn't want to eat or drink something that tastes like cigarettes. Some e-juices are so delicious. I think it is actually a blessing I haven't found a good cigarette juice. It would be too much of a reminder of that dirty old habit anyways.
I have a nice blend that tastes like a pipe tobacco I used to smoke, without the tobacco, if that makes any sense. It is a wonderful blend of cocoa and coconut, with a touch of vanilla and sweetness. The coolest part about it is that every vape tastes a little different. Sometimes the cocao is in the foreground, and sometimes the vanilla pokes its head out. Kinda reminds me of a description I heard of Boba's Bounty. I must give that juice a try.

I used to smoke marlboro red shorts but dont enjoy any of the tobacco flavor liquids so im stuck on fruit type flavor liquids and really like them, due to the fact that they have a nice after taste and taste a lot better than analogs
I used to be that weirdo that imported Sampoerna Dji Sam Soe Super Premium's after Djarum changed to cigarillos in the US. I still haven't really found a decent tasting clove-base e-liquid. I hear good things about Marcado by Johnson Creek though.
Camel Ultra-lights and any cheap menthol for variety. Now ego c-twist and as many vivi novas with different flavors that will fit in my case.
Mainly Menthol Marlborros, and other Phillip Morris menthols, such as LM's and RGD's (don't know if they are available worldwide or only in Poland), sometimes Menthol Davidov's.

Belmonts in Canada and Marlboro Lights when I could get them from the US. Saving over 200$ per month since I switched!

Camel blue bout a pack a day. Only been vaping a week but i dont see myself wanting something that taste similar. So far im digging boba's bounty. I have a vape shop behing where i work, next off day im going to try someother flavors. Finding my self wanting something with coffee hints in it
When I did smoke it was the expensive Dunhill cut leaf.

I smoked Lucky Strike unfiltereds. So strong and satisfying. I still miss them... I wonder if you could somehow extract their essence into e-juice...
I usually switched up my brand every month or so. I really loved the Camel signature series while it was out.
There are still a couple stores around me that have these on the shelves, which is terrifying, they stopped making them years ago. I always missed those after they were gone, especially the red pack (Robust or something)
