I smoked a LOT of different brands over 32 years but Nat Sherman's were always my favorite. I loved Cigaratello Filters and when those became unavailable, I switched to the very similar-tasting MCDs. Due to their high price, though, Sherman's were only an occasional treat.

As for my regular day-to-day smoke, I was rolling my own for the last four years of my habit. I loved Zig-Zag "blue" cigarette tobacco (Classic American Blend) but when that became too expensive due to punitive taxes, I switched to Criss Cross Smooth Blend.

Lets see, I started in the 80's. We mostly smoked GPC's.. because they were cheap. However, my preferred brand was Marlboro red medium. Most my friends smoked camels so I'm not sure why I liked Marlboro's better. In my later smoking days I switched to Pall Mall's just because they were a dollar cheaper. I probably would still be smoking if they hadn't become so expensive... but I always said I'd quit if they reached $5 bucks a pack. .. so I quit. Sort of. I still get my nicotine.. just in vapor form.

Marlboro reds for about 15 years then Pall Mall reds for about another 5-6 years. I like tobacco flavored juices but they don't taste anything like a burning cig. They taste more like the tobacco smells when you just open a fresh pack. I've had RY4s from a few different vendors and most are pretty good. RY4 is a mix of tobacco flavor with van/caramel.

I smoked Marlboro's and Camel's off and on for the first 15 years and then switched to Winston's at some point to try the 'additive free'. Once the Sin Tax kicked in and Marlboro/Camel/Winston/Etc. were almost as expensive as the American Spirits, I started buying American Spirits in the light-blue full-bodied taste and then switched to the USA grown tobacco (dark blues) once they were available at the gas station near work, because 'MURICA.. but they did taste better.

About 20-25yrs of a variety of cigs. Mostly Marlboro 1-2 PAD.

The last 10yr+ ive been a Backwoods and little flavored cigarillos smoker. Plus an occasional really good El Sublimado cigar. Mostly 2 packs PAD until a year ago, i dropped to one pack.

Now i like vapor FAR better. Ry4 is by tobacco flavor of choice but i have not tried too many besides disposables.
