what did you smoke before you started vaping?

Marlboro Lights and Marlboro Twenty-Sevens.

I smoked everythign over the years...started with newport menthols...rogressed to lucky strikes and cigerello type smokes....was up to two packs of red malbros a day when I finally realised I was in deep trouble

switched to a special cig called the eclipse...that propossed to heat the tabacco insteada burning it...then discovered ecigs I've never looked back since. I started with those cheap no 7 auto ecigs and finally found joytech's ego c....now I tank off an ego and am waiting for my chance at a zenasis mini my gf uses a pavari mini even though she's never smoked

I started out with Marlbro lights, then went to ultra lights. As far as juices go, I never really cared on the tobacco flavors, but I do vape some of the fruity flavors, like orange, fruit punch, and strawberry-banana.

Kent because that's what I could steal from my parents.
Marlb reds because that's what my husband smoked and he was older and more worldly than I.
Carlton 100's because i was now an independent thinker and making my own choices.
Marlb ultra light because they were easier to find than the Carlton 100's and I managed to delude myself into thinking they were not going to kill me as fast.
Marlb reds because they were cheaper.

The absurdity of all my choices with the exception of one......vapeing.......now nic free and maybe 1ml per day of fruit or some other sweet flavor. Tobacco(?) flavor, perish the thought. It took me 40+ years to get rid of that nasty habit and I never liked the taste of them to begin with!

The day I stopped smoking I was smoking Vogue Kings. Throughout my smoking life, off the top of my head, I've smoked for at least a few months with regularity: DuMarier (the whole line), Drum hand roll, Dunhill, Camel lights, Export Green, JPS regular & light, JPS handroll, B&H 100's, Viscount, Belmonts, and (my personal favourite) rolled butts from my ashtray.

Used to smoke Marlboro Lights. First thing I tried switching over were the halo liquids which I didn't really like except for the Tribecca, which is an RY4 (I think), and the Tiki Juice. The Tiki is spicy and sweet, and I thought I liked it before trying others. Now that I've been vaping for a few months I couldn't imagine trying to find something like the analogs I used to smoke. I tried a cig the other day and just hated it.

I used to smoke Marlboro Skyline's. They are menthol but i cant stand any eliquid having menthol in it, absolutly repulsive to me. Strange in'nt? But I never really tried to find a liquid to try to match the old ciggys. I got into the more exotic flavors after my first disposable.

camel menthol silver....they are menthol lights but they called them silvers and added that little crush in the filter to make the menthol full flavor.....smoked around 15 a day

I used to smoke marlboro black (full menthol) before i started vaping. Weird thing is my first juice wasn't tobacco flavor

Salem Light 100's for years. Merit, Doral and Marlboro Lights for a long time. My coffee consumption has dropped since I started vaping. I used to drink three big cups in the morning and smoke 6-8 cigs with it. Now I'll drink one cup and it really doesn't taste that great.

I was wondering what everyone used to smoke before they started vaping, and also if you have found any eliquid close to it. I used to smoke Pall Mall Reds....I still havent found anything close haha.

I used to smoke rolling tobacco, I have being vaping Drum and that seems to satisfy me.

Marlboro Blend 27's.

USA Blend tobacco is the closest I've tried, but a lot sweeter than the analog. I keep finding that when I do have the occasional one while out drinking, it tastes pretty bad compared to my eliquids...

Started with Newports and switched to Marlboro Menthol Lights now called Gold Pack I think. I've yet to find a good menthol but thats probably a good thing. Just ordered 5 different fruit juices from Highbrow Vapors, finding the right juice is getting to be a real PITA but well worth it.

Money got tight so I would go into a store and ask for their cheapest cigarettes...and it was always Fortuna (Blue). I think they are a Spanish brand. Sometimes the cheapest was Pall Mall. Cut my cig bill almost in half. The day I quit smoking and started vaping (tomorrow marks three weeks) my cost per pack from a carton dropped from $3.00/pack to $2.80/pack. In my 30 years of smoking, cigarettes NEVER dropped in price. Such irony. I've got a long way to go to break even and start saving money...but I will never touch another cigarette. The guilt and knowing I was slowly killing myself and the selfishness I felt about doing this to my son was just too much. Vaping solved many things.
