Hi everyone! I am a noob, and am waiting for my Volt starter kit to come in. In the mean time, I am limited to my local tobacco shop offerings. What is the best to tide me over? Cig20, Hookah, Fusion, Blu, njoy king, or my old green smart living?

I know disposables are taboo here, but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! No more stinkies for me! 1 week smoke free!

I think most would agree that if those are your only offerings, the Njoy King is an excellent choice. Personally, I love disposables, and if they were cheaper, I would probably use them a lot more. My personal favorite is the White Cloud Fling which you can get in packages of 10 for $39.99. They last the longest of any I have used and have excellent flavor and choice of strength. Njoy King would be my next favorite.

By 1 of each and find the one that works best for you. If you ever get into a situation where you can't use your device you know what to pick; that's my backup, backup plan. Have seen posts and talked to people who have gone back to cigarettes because of a device failure, losing device or ran out of juice.

If I have to buy a lot of disposables/day because I can't use my devices I will, I'm not going back to cigarettes.

Disposables aren't taboo here. That's what got me vaping.

They aren't often recommended to people that want to quit smoking and start vaping because it's sort of impractical.
If someone wants to try vaping without going through a big expense, it's an option. The only drawback is there are many pretty bad disposables out there and they may turn someone off to vaping.

I got the basic starter kit, an x2 pass through battery, a clearomizer, and some juice to start with. Any suggestions that may work with the set up I got?

Your starter kit has two batteries and you got an extra pass through? Or your starter kit is a pass through?

I'd pick up more clearomizers or cartos.

It's recommended that a person starting have a minimum of 30 mls of liquid on hand. Most people vape between 2/3-5 ml a day depending on your setup. If you vape 3 mls a day, that's 10 days worth of liquid. Depends if you have access to a B&M or do your shopping online.

I believe the OP means he got a starter kit that includes 2 mini-sized batteries, and an X2 passthru/charger battery (eGo size), as the X2's are yet to be offered in a starter kit to my knowledge.

The clearo will look a little top heavy on the little Volt batteries, but it will be functional. I believe the starter kit comes with a pack of cartos (probably pre-filled)? You'll likely soon experiment with the different juice carrying devices that Smokeless Image offers to see which is most to your liking.

The smaller Volt batteries match up size-wise with a cartomizer, Nano clearomizer, or CE3 (both of the last two are reusable that can be cleaned and reused for different flavors - great for testing out samples flavors). The X2, being of a larger diameter matches up better with clearomizers and the new T3 designed for the X2.

If not aware, Smokeless Image has a supplier sub-forum here where you can go and ask questions with other SI customers that are familiar with the product lineup: Smokeless Image

I tried my cousin's blu disposable. I was pleasantly surprised, as it hit like a champ. The weird thing is that it works much better than their rechargeable kits. My cousin did about the same thing you're doing. Wanted to jump right in and try something out while waiting on his order.

I second the Blu disposable. I picked up a couple when I quit analogs while researching what to get.
