Ok so I just got this off of Amazon.
Alien 32GA+0.30.8 Flat. One question is, it doesn't have the typical squiggles of alien wire. At least the pics I've seen. Two, what does this even mean? I know the 32 is the gauge. But I'm trying to use vape tool and I don't know what to put in for the values. Help? Please?

It is basically a Clapton wire, but with a flat (or ribbon) core instead of regular round wire.
Looks to be a single core 0.3*0.8 (height*width) flat wire wrapped by 32g.
With Vape Tool, use the Clapton setting and change the core from round to flat. (circled on screenshot)
Should be normal (more or less) from there.

Hoping this helps!

Something isn't right here. My mod is reading .43 ohms, no flavor, running it at like 50W, lots of vapor, but there's SIX wraps. IDK what I'm doing wrong here. photo_2022-08-21_03-37-04 (3).jpg photo_2022-08-21_03-37-04 (2).jpg photo_2022-08-21_03-37-04.jpg photo_2022-08-21_03-37-03.jpg

Yeah, that is a big difference!
I've had to fudge the numbers a little at times to get things to match up when using Vape Tool, but usually only by about one wrap or adjusting coil leg length.

I just started building earlier this year so I don't have too much experience to help with troubleshooting.
As far as ohms too high, I can only think to recheck to make sure that the screws are tight enough or didn't loosen up a bit after installing/firing the coils and maybe make sure the 510 pin is clean and not loose. I think many 510 pins can be adjusted if a good electrical connection is not being made with the mod, but am not 100% sure about that or if it could be the culprit.

Hopefully someone here with greater experience than I have will see this and be able to help figure this out.

Is that lead (leg) I see near the top of the 510 pin in the last picture?

Also, in terms of flavor, you're leaving way too much cotton on the wick ends. I often comb out 1/2 to a 1/4 of the wick density based on what RBA I'm using (RTA, RDTA, or RDA). Once the wicks are in place and before you trim the ends of, fluff the ever-living-crap out of the ends, esp. in a small chambered RDA. The way you have it now, you're essentially cutting off the airflow.

Oh yeah that's how long my legs were.
I'm not sure you're seeing what I mean, lol. It's okay. Are you still ohming out?

It looks like your build is a little tall. My guess is that one of your coils is touching the top of the chamber. Try removing the coils, cutting the legs at 5mm, and then rebuilding.
