Started with an ego. I got tired of having to carry a bottle of juice around wherever I went, so I bought an ego-t. Didn't care for the stiff draw and noticed I was vaping more and the battery couldn't keep up with my needs. So I decided to go with the silver bullet. Loved that thing. Throw on a fluxomizer and carry a spare and I'm good for the day. Then I started to hear about variable voltage and how it is the future of vaping and you can get better flavor through minute adjustments in voltage. So of course, I had to get a provari. This thing is vaping nirvana. I occasionally go back to the silver bullet for those low resistance atomizers I have sitting around, but my primary vape is definitely the provari.

Bought an Inferno Kit, then a month later another Inferno kit, vaped at 2.8 ohms then got hooked on cisco 1.5ohm. Few months later bought a soldering kit and 3.7v box mod parts. Learn to solder while putting the box together. Now I am on to OKR-T VV box mod and vaping at 2.8ohm again at 5-5.5v. Waiting on my HH357 atty to come in so I can try it. I doubt I will go back to my inferno but they are there for backup.

Two years ago started with an njoy (old cartridge version)....tasted like sewage, and of course cartridges ran out waaay to quick. Then six months ago tried the njoy carto version (2n1) and while they DID work better/longer...tasted like rawER sewage. THEN a couple months ago I tried the xhale02 from 7-11, and it tasted a load better, but cartridges lasted about 1/2 a second. Then got mah dander up, researched, googled, researched, and bought an ego kit from altsmoke.com. The very first pull on that ego, I went to the kitchen, wadded up the last pack of smokes, and never looked back.

Tried the liquinator but QA and CS issues sent me on to the ego tanks.

Currently rolling with a type A (lr) and a type B (lr) tank with ego batts. The next purchase for home will be a buzz-pro (in all likelyhood), but the ego LR tanks are perfect for the job. (taxi driver).

A month + smoke free and not looking back.

p.s. I am NOT having issues with the type A after making a small wick adjustment to stop the dry hits. and the type B is just awesome. The caps WILL wear out and cause leakage eventually, so getting replacement silicone caps is a good idea for this type of system. Also, the type B tank hole is a perfect fit for most squeeze bottle e-juices, so if just refilling, leave the cap on and squeeze from the bottle into the tank, and viola'! longer lasting tank caps! :2cool:

I started with a Nicotek Metro kit I bought at a gas station on an impulse buy because the guy in front of me in line kept buying scratch tickets, lol. I spent too long looking at the display. They were so popular that after a few days all of the refills were sold out so I checked every cigarette store to try to find refills or something else. At one store I found a 510T with Smart PCC kit by Phoenix Vapor but I couldn't afford it. A few days later my son bought it for me. That went well for awhile but I kept burning out attys and kept leaking in my mouth. Yuck. Then I ordered a G6 (KR808D-1 kit) from Halo and have used that exclusively until today. I won a Ramiya R2-750 from a contest by Analog Alternative (eGo type Korean e-cig) and it arrived today. I've used that about half of the day. I still love the G6 because it's a 2 piece model and it works well for me. I also love the Ramiya R2-750 because it holds more liquid and stays charged longer and even though it is a tank set up it doesn't have the leaking problem because of the cartridges. I will be using both the G6 and Ramiya on a daily basis because they are both great models.

First, I'd like to thank all those who have been vaping for (say) a year or longer; you've all probably had some effect on the industry and have made my (and other newbies) choices much better (in many cases) - so, Tanks A Lot..:p

45 Days, or so, ago - I began my journey with a Joye 510T (tank) - it gets credit for getting me off analogs. Tired of changing (and charging) batteries all day long so, I made an addition (and found ECF too). My next PV was an e-Power 18650 (take that battery life!); three weeks into my journey.

Well - then there is all this talk about 5v (and higher). My e-power is fine - looks like a giant cigar, so... Box mod - 5v box mod to be specific (and generic). So far - enjoying that.

My 510T is a nice stealth vaper - perfect for when a pen-style doesn't look out of place. My e-power - well its an all day sucker (may look into some LR attys for it one day - so it can stay current). And my 5v black box will be my everyday vaping buddy (when my J-Tank comes).

I can see light at the end of the tunnel - it's not a train - goal is to keep analogs at bay long enough that they become pages in a history book. Can see a Provari in my future though - kind of all things rolled into one.

Not sure what happened there with my post. I guess I will chalk it up to being a newbie? Anyway after finding another store, Kokomo pure vapors, I have been fiddling around with different kinds of carts. I have decided I need a vv mod to get the kind of warm vape I am looking for so I am saving for a vv box mod. In the mean time I am using ce2 carts on my tank battery. I don't like that they leak and the vape isn't perfect yet, but I am still off analogs, so I guess I will just keep fiddling till I find my happy vape place.

I grew up in Kokomo and my parents still live there. When I'm home at Christmas, I'll have to check out Kokomo pure vapors! I started with a cheap drugstore ecig. Then I found ECF and bought a Riva. Got tired of the messy cartridges, so I'm now happily using a Volt-KR808D1.

Have you tried using any Cartomizers yet? I mean using ones that you fill yourself. I have gone to the Boge (which I sell on my site) and have really enjoyed the flavor difference now. I have gotten myself hooked on DIY and also found that everyone that I get started on it, is just as enthused about it. It makes a difference when you control your own flavoring and nic levels. I have actually gotten myself down to 0-8mg nic levels by doing my own flavors and no problems at all.

The cool thing about the ego kits is the versatility. You can drip with them, use the carto's or tanks. I also seen how some are starting to mod them. I have not tried any of the boosters they are now sellign for them, but I did finally get myself a few variable voltage mods and really loving them. I still carry my ego battery with a LR carto, but the difference is in the flavor production for me.

I ordered V2cigs KR808d-1 then found this forum. So before I got the KR808's I also ordered the ego-t kit. Wanted to try em both and see what I liked.

Hated the tanks due to the leaking. Didn't want to fiddle around too much either so I got the EMDCC's and a 1100 mah battery.

Just ordered some CE2 Fluxomizers and the VV Ego bat. Eagerly waiting for shipment.

I started with an Ego-T 1000 Mah with 4 attys and lots of extra taks. I fill them up and carry a couple of attys with me. I recently purchased an Icon in this forum and I completely love it! Its a different set up, but I think you need to find your preference. I would definately check the swaps, because youll be able to save money and get something really good!
