...the chargers for eGo/kGos are twice as powerful as the charger for slimline 510s and while they will work, they will take around 4-6hrs to charge your batts...here is a direct quote from Hoosiers site, in reference to the kGo batts..."But they do not work with Joye tech brand eGo chargers."...I would contact Brent at Hoosiers to find out for sure if they work or not......

p.s. you should not be using the 2ohm Boges or the 1.7ohm Resurrectors with your slimline batts, they just aren't designed to put out that kinda amperage and can result with their early demise............mj

that early demise can today lol my old 51 trio battery finally bit the dust, so it donated its soul to a new usb passthru i made today. i do say its not to bad for my first try at it. 676A0794.jpg

ok i got another question, yeah i know I ask alot lol. ok whats is the difference between cartomizers. whats Boge, what does the 1.7 mean on the resurectors? I know what ohms are lol. and I belive I get what xl cartos are lol just bigger. well here is the plan. the e power i seen at hoosier im getting, have some ressurectors 1,7 2 ohm, and some cheap xl cartos. also on the ohms is less ohms better? more vapor? or do you match ohms with voltage. have a 3.7v slimlime 510 left and a usb passthru i made last night. the 3.7 will be retired when i get my epower.

I think we are doing a disservice to new vapers by recommending starter kits and entry level ecigs. Maybe we should be suggesting a mid to higher priced durable 510 mod with a battery size like 18650, 2 batteries, and a good charger. After that, the only expense would be eliquid and cartos or a tank. They would be able to customize the basic equipment to their heart's content, but could keep the cost down to 10 to 20 dollars a month, especially if they DIY juice.........If they start with an entry level ecig and go thru 2 or 3 setups which burn out and get tossed, or they grow out of it, they have spent more money and had more aggravation than getting a good quality mod the first time around. JMHO......

this is true and i wish i found this forum before i found an e cig because I prolly would have never bought a pen style to begin with after making my passthru It is clear that you get a more pleasurable vape imo. I know now that if someone asked me what to buy I prolly would tell the e power. just because this is the direction i am going to go and feel its the best.

My advice, depending on a person's financial situation, would be to buy a mechanical MOD/ PV. I did and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Many many times I read about vapers buying one, two, three PVs and spending a small fortune before finally getting it right. The Provari stays at home and the Don, my workhorse, is my everyday PV for on the go.

I would suggest getting a disposable ones first at your local smoke shop just to get an idea what your getting into. If you decide you like 'em then getting one that has re-fill capabilities will save you a lot of money and health long-term.

getting a disposable would be a downgrade. i have 3 pv's a 510 battery a 21st century, and a passthru made and now a Puck I made last night. so I am looking to upgrade. and the hoosier one that a couple of you told me to go with will be my choice.

i read daily here in ECF now 9 months since i joined..it is amazing from a noob to be able to guide others to choose the right gear/gadget/starter kit..i wasted $$ on my 1st kit and buy online items i cannot use because i am not aware of ohm/mAh and carto/atty..but through reading up from PV guru to PV specialist..i get to understand what goes with what..must thanks all veterans and members..i have learn from, too many to mentioned and they know who they are:).

now it is "pay-it-forward"..so my recommendation for a commercial brand e-cig would be the LCD eGo 1100(battery last at least 11 hrs of constant vapeing) ,has the LCD to inform U what left of yr battery's tank, like in yr car the fuel tank indicator..so in a rush to go..pick up a loaded one:) fully charged one..and the cartomizer..i just being using this micromizer for over a week..i am not a carto fan..but this micromizer changed all that for me..just love the easy refill..took me 5 mins to filled 1.3 ml to 2 micromizers without mess or leak..the LED lit up when in use..so when yr battery is weak..the LED is unlit ie take the guess work out of if my carto is in working order & also can be a talking point when in use to newbies..i just love this set up and has retired my cartridge/atty that i used be4..regards mafig ps I highly recommend this kind of set to newbies..wish i did when i started vapeing 9 months ago on this set up
