I'm in need of some help. I've been vaping for over a year now. First bought a blu, then the ego-t starter kit, ego-c starter kit, two extra ego-t batteries, and just purchased a new ego-c starter kit after losing 3 batteries and 3 batteries have split in half or quit working. I'm currently using a revolution v2(hate it) until my new kit arrives. Very annoyed with the ego kits (....ty batteries, leaky tanks, tempormental) and want to upgrade to a new e-cig device. Looking for something reliable, mabee Variable Voltage, possibly similar size as an ego with 650 battery.

Please point me in the right direction. Suggestions?

The Kgo VV is similarly sized to the eGo and gives you the flexibility of variable voltage. If you go with that, I suggest Apollo's version, since it's backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee and a one-year warranty. Here's my review:

That looks very nice and similar size as ego. Any problems with the 3vo?
I would skip 3vo due to the price and the fixed VV settings. At your price range, I would consider these:

$23 for a Joyetech T-mod (18650) -if you don't want/need a VV mod
Joyetech eGo-T Mod 18650 2200mAh Device - MyFreedomSmokes.com

$31 for a Ego style 14500 VV mod - for a Ego style 3-6V VV mod (using this ATM)
Ego 14500 VV (Stainless Steel)

For $39, you can get a VAMO VV/VW mod (OOS...again)
eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV (only Body) [D-B4 APV] - $39.00 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

As gthompson mention, $90 for a Zmax v2 clone is also a good option (said to be as accurate as the Provari):
Search results for: 'zmax'

In your situtation, I would skip EgoTwist/KgoVV/Spinner since they would run you around $22-$25/piece and you'll end up throwing them away 6-12 months (more like 3-6 months) down the road. Just my :2c:.

Why would you end up throwing the batteries away? Just curious. I know they have a lifespan, but is it that short?
I really am liking my Vision Spinner chrome 650. I think it's mainly the size of it. I like the concept of the nicer tube mods, especially that variable wattage one that's been getting linked up a lot here lately, but the size...

The pics I've seen of the Provari, for example, make the regular Vivi Nova tank (3ml) look small. I'm using a 650 spinner with a mini Nova tank (2ml) and am pleased with the overall look, size and performance.
If OP is going from an ego-c, it will be about the same size I think? But with VV? I think the new kanger bottom feed clearos would probably look snazzy on it as well, if you don't like the wicking on the Novas. Just throwing out some thoughts.

I have the new VW $39 device and have been using it with my Kanger T3 (bottom coil clearo), and they're a great pair. You can see the two in my avatar. The size is something to get used to though. I am a mainly ego guy, and have been for several years. But I think the huge amount of features you get on this new mod is amazing. Well worth the price IMO.

I'll give you the same recommendation I give everybody, because this is what worked for me...I'm a former 510 system user. (Well, I'm a former every vaping system available user.... :)

My vaping tastes have evolved radically over the past few years but I've found the "GO-GO" Starter Kit a good bet for the following reasons;

* Cost - $59.95 for complete two eCig starter kit with (five) pre-filled Cartos or (three) pre-filled Go-Tanks: GO-GO KIT

* Batteries last up to two days between charges (depending upon how heavily you vape)

* Go-Carts - (Go-Carts hold 3ml of Nic Juice & Go-Tanks can hold up to 2 ml. (I vape all day on 2-3 ml) - The Carts are really no muss, no fuss but once you've acclimated to vaping you should really switch to the Go-Tanks (GO GO PREMIUM TANKS) as the vapor, flavor and throat hit are unparalleled. I really do insist that in time you do this :thumb:

Be sure to order the PRE-FILLED Go-Carts when you re-order. (Five pre-filled Cartos will come with your Kit but you'll need to specify the flavor and strength. I recommend 24 mg nic strength so you resist the urge to go back to analogs. I also recommend the flavor "EASY-BORO-USA Mix" as I personally believe this tastes most like regular Tobacco. I loved Menthol when I was smoker... hate it with vaping, so this natural Tobbacco flavor would most likely suit you. You can obtain that here: EASY LIQUID 10ML BOTTLES 24MG

Wishing you the best of Luck.... hope you find your Vaping Nirvana as I did :vapor:

The only reason I might recommend against this is that the go-go is not compatible with any other devices except it's own. I seriously considered it when it came out a couple years ago, but when I saw I couldn't use other 510 or other types of devices with it, I changed my mind. So as long as you don't mind proprietary devices, go for it. If you do, I bet you have a Apple computer that you praise over PCs :) hehe

CigEasy has an 808 Adapter for the GO-go now. I love mine.

I think the best suggestion that everybody here would agree with, is do your research. There is so much information here on this forum, you should be able to search for anything you need. So many questions like yours have been asked, and so many answers have been given, you should have a TON of ideas based on these. You should also be able to find many reviews and threads on each one of those ideas, so you should be able to know exactly what you need. Don't go off just your post alone. Go read, it's free, and might save you some money too :)

I've got the same VV/VW device that GIMike does. We both got em from the same shop. The little device does everything the new version of zmax does and cost a whole lot less. It's being called a lot of different names though. I've got a kicked SB and this works just as good plus you have the option of changing from vms to vrms. Just my two cents worth.
