My new blanks should be here today or tomorrow. I don't normally put any carto
under 3.0 ohms on my PT, but I can try one of the new Maxx carto blanks with
some 50/50 mochachino at 5 volts. If that don't burn it [the juice], nothing will.
My first MaxxFusion and cartos arrived today!!!
Just got one batt, 5 pre-filleds (red), and 5 blanks for now. Will definitely be
getting an Ultimate kit when they are back in stock.
All the blanks metered at about 2.5 ohms (+/- 0.05)
Filled a blank with 1 ml of Hopscotch (DIY) using a syringe. Let it sit upright a
few minutes. (No drippage from the bottom hole.)
Set it on the MaxxFusion (78mm), vaped very nicely. Smooth and cool.
Set it on my PT (auto switch powered with 2.2 amp wall converter). At 5 volts
this would draw about 2.0 amps and nearly 10 watts of power. The PT has
good airflow or I would not even try it.
On the PT it did have a slight off taste, but nothing I would call burnt. Most likely
it is a component in the liquid solution that is creating the taste... the nicotine
itself perhaps. The off taste may also be from PGA, which I had previously
added to this hopscotch batch. (I don't recall my exact recipe, which also
most likely included some MTS Vape Wizard.)
Out of time for today, but tomorrow I'll test at high volts with 100% VG and
high nic (no flavor or additives)... and mochachino as promissed.
My guess at this point is the only concern over too much VG is viscosity. If
it is too thick, the juice may not wick quickly enough.
