From Wikipedia. Replace the word wine with e-liquid.

"The aging of wine, and its ability to potentially improve wine quality, distinguishes wine from most other consumable goods. While wine is perishable and capable of deteriorating, complex chemical reactions involving a wine's sugars, acids and phenolic compounds (such as tannins) can alter the aroma, color, mouthfeel and taste of the wine in a way that may be more pleasing to the taster. The ability of a wine to age is influenced by many factors including grape(flavor) variety, vintage((PG/VG/Nic mix), viticultural(mixing) practices, wine region(source) and winemaking( style(n/a). The condition that the wine is kept in after bottling can also influence how well a wine ages and may require significant time and financial investment"

Aging would get my vote for supplanting steeping in our vernacular.

If you want to minimize the change in flavor of a fresh juice, I would suggest squeezing out all of the air space in your bottles before recapping. Exposure to air is the prime cause of chemical changes. One of those CO2 based wine preserving kits might be worth exploring also.
Hello :) ah someone is speaking my language (wine). The problem with the Co2 wine kits is that it messes with the flavors of the wine. Woud be cool to see how it works on e liquid. Has anyone here ever canned their e liquids? Like in mason jars?

I know a guy that "hates" every ingredient in my cheeseball and begs me every year for one, including the cheese.

I had one out when he last visited and he had a grand time demolishing it. It's not like any cheeseball you've ever encountered.

Pictures Hoosier. I need pictures. You've made me very curious on these cheeseballs :)

Well, the making of them is a secret passed on to me by my grandmother. Oddly appropriate for this thread they need 2 weeks of "steeping", as my grandmother put it, before they are ready to be consumed. I only have a Canon EOS T2 and I'm not quick enough on the button to get a picture of one once it is unwrapped.

I give them out as Christmas presents. I'd invite you over to the open house to try one, but I suspect the Nederlands is quite aways from B.F.E. Indiana. (Yes, real B.F.E. as GPS cannot find my place and the address does not exist according to the USPS. If you don't know what B.F.E. means, it's a rather obscene colloquialism for places that are so difficult to find and get to, most would rather not try.)

I depend heavily on my GPS when i travel. So i probably wouldn't be able to find your place if your address doesn't show up on this device. I can see myself getting hopelessly lost in Indiana.

LOL, you see the term 'steeping' isn't as bad as some would want us to believe.
