could someone explain the purpose of a pre-order? other than getting your money early is it strickly a marketing tool? a popular item never in stock is going to be re-ordered by the vendor as soon as they able to anyway, so why not order, get them in and sell them? it seems like the lines at Disney which are set up to give the illusion of progress , but are just keeping you moving to kill time. why not keep the customers informed about the timetable of the order and actually sell them when they arrive? is anyone leary about paying up front? I just paid for a Russian rba but don't feel any better having "reserved" my purchase, I just feel a little lighter in my wallet.....
