48mg? really? 36mg gives me a massive headrush after 4 or 5 hits ... and i smoked 1.5 PAD for over 20 years ...

i'm thinking you need to upgrade your delivery system ... either low resistance cartos/ clearos or up your voltage. vaping doesn't get the nicotine to your brain as fast as smoking does - we don't get all the toxins and MAOI components that speed absorption.

do you get the hiccups a lot? heart palpitations? general woozyness, especially when standing up? it is really easy to OD on juice over 36mg - that's why no one sells it that strong without serious warning labels.
