I have been vaping for a little over a week and it has been a relatively painless transition from a pack of analogs a day. What I haven't been able to pin down is exactly what gives me the throat and chest "hit" that closely resembles that of an analog. These have been my experiences so far...
I started with a N4081 and 12mg Marlboro and Coffee flavors from overseas. - mild to no hit, but managed to get off analogs anyway.
Got an M401 and noticed about the same. Dripped on the M401 and things were quite a bit better.
Got some 16mg Marlboro from puresmoker and noticed a much more pronounce hit, especially when dripping. 12mg Cola seemed about the same. Both were better in the N4081 too. No real hit on the 12mg Cappucino, but good flavor.
Added a 901 and got a smooth consistent draw, lots of vapor and good flavor, but not as much of a hit as the 401.
Finally, got some 24mg Friskee and Mint from esmoker and Woohoo! Great hits on all three devices.
Now my question - is it the higher nicotine content, the more powerful flavors, the relative concentration of flavor from different sources or a combination of all three that is yielding the best results? I am going to try some more combinations to get the best bang at the lowest nic, but so far I have really screwed up the testing with too many variables!
Sorry for the long post and thanks for your insights.
