Either way, the majority of newbies looking at getting into the vape world, want the cheapest, most efficient products they can find. You can tell a person all the pros and cons of everything out there, but it always comes down to dollars and cents in the end.

All about the money, baby. Nobody gives a crap about anything else.

Fact of life. Cheers.

That's part of the problem.

Outside of the forums who knows about provape?

I've talked to a bunch of people and normally get a deer stuck in headlights when referencing some of the sought after gear seen in our vendor forums. Provari included.

But when in a vape shop, "yeah, I've seen them". But still deer stuck in headlights. Just now with effort to look and seem informed.

When I mention the t-mod or reo... Same thing. Then they don't even know what squonking is. Or try to change the settings.

But no... everyone quitting smoking doesn't fall under the demographic of a tootle puffer. I spent enough time sucking my eyeballs into my skull to know what I want and that it doesn't work on a provari.

I vape to satiate smoking desires...
@ 50mg/ml
@ 80 watts
On a dual coil rda
Unregulated
Bottom fed
@ 70 mph dripping upside down

Thank goodness... or I'd be smoking again.

Coolfire IV... 40w, and the hit-timer is 15 secs instead of 10secs. Also damn hardy, surviving flawlessly the 4ft violent encounter with my driveway. And not too pricey either, think they're still running roughly $35-ish.

But... What do you think of ProVape?

I went into a local vape shop next to my house and saw Provari P3's in the clearance case for $89.99. I asked what was up with that and they said they are going to stop carrying provape's stuff. IMO I think they were working on that board for the P3 so long that temp control came out and China stepped up their game to where the P3 became obsolete and they missed the boat. Everyone else that stuck with evolv boards survived the China awakening but man did they get crushed. Anyone else notice this?

I think a B&M selling P3s on clearance has more to do with profit than anything else. The mark-up on ProVaris isn't much compared to what they can sell other products for. I imagine B&M customers mostly come in 2 flavors: the ones who just want to quit and would be happy with an eGo-ish style that works and the ones who want the newest shiniest device on the market. Either one has a bigger profit margin than a ProVari.

I started vaping because it's not smoke. I presently vape because I like the flavors and nicotine...and it's not smoke.

Currently vaping Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured (1.8% nic) in a Kabuki with a 1.8 ohm Nautilus coil @ 4.0 volts (shows 9.0watts) on a P3 and I'm getting way more vapor than smoke from a Marlboro Red. Works for me and I love it.

Bought a V2 ProVari back in 2012 and a spare blem 3 months later but never had to use it. My girlfriend has used a V2 Mini since 2012 with no problems. We purchased our P3's in June. She uses a K4 with cotton.

Guess they're pretty good, if you have sufficient disposable income to afford them. I don't. If I was gonna spend $200 on a mod, it would be an SX Mini M class -- looks better, and does a hell of a lot more.

But before I can spend that kind of dough on ANY mod, there's gonna be 6 lucky numbers in my hand.

I love my Zombie, it was my first "good" mod, bought it from the classies here. I also have a Disrupter, an iStick 40wTC and several subtanks. Somedays, all I want is the security of that big heavy ProVari in my hands with a high nic juice. Somedays I just need a few puffs off another mod. Would I recommend a Provari to someone who is trying to quit smoking, YES. Would I recommend a subtank and high wattage mod to the same person, NO.

I agree. I have only seen one mod in the wild and it was a Vamo about 2 years ago. Every other device I have seen (not counting in vape shops) has been some kind of eGo-ish battery. When I go out with a ProVari or a Reo, no one knows what it is. That can be useful, since I use a plain atty on my Reo and can stealth vape by putting it up to my ear between puffs; it's been mistaken more than once for a phone.

I like your MVP, it's purdy! And your vape case makes me think of James Bond.
Thanks. That mvp was the wifes. We put a black snake skin jwrap on it 4th of July weekend and PIF'd it to her dad.

I could be on a road trip over a month at any time. I have EVERYTHING possibly needed to survive in there.

You know. Since I'm driving this coast to coast...

Thank you for your reply. See, that wasn't so hard, was it? I would never tell someone how they should vape, rather what I like and listen to other opinions.

I will say that using a ProVari and going to a KISS concert can be compared. I have never heard anyone leave a KISS concert and say, "Gee, that sucked." The people that have actually owned a ProVari and said, "Gee that sucked" are under a whole % number.

EDIT: I take it back. A guy I worked with saw KISS in a high school gym back in the 70's and said they sucked.

About 100 miles north of Detroit in Saginaw County.

Are you a owner-operator or is that a company truck? My Sister is a owner-operator and it has been a nightmare for her but she won't go back to being company.

Company truck for now.

Once I go O/O, I won't be coming back either.

I like the idea of saying go eff yourself to some of these ridiculous practices. Either you want your freight or you don't. It'll get there when I can legally get there and 30 minutes later, if I'm not unloading, you can come pick it up where I get my next load.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with them -- I have a Sigelei Zmax that goes to 15w and only has one button, and until I got all these box mods, it was my all day every day vape... now I use it mostly for dry-burning coils. But the Sigelei was only $36... it's almost a year and a half old, and works just as well as the first day I got it.

But Kiss...? Nah, I won't say they suck, because they obviously know a thing or two about marketing, but I've never cared for their music.

Saginaw County... I guess that would be more in Flint territory? Went there once... nice town! I recently looked up Lake Orion on google maps, and was positively astonished to find that Rustic Cabins is still there... :D We lived there for quite a few months, before marriage and getting babyfied and needing a bigger place for all the baby gear. :D
