It's good to not rely too heavily on spell check. It will let a correctly spelled, but misplaced word go unchecked. I borrowed the following from associatedcontent.com
To Out Values Customer;

We got your e-male about yore missing shipment and are sew sorry for ant incontinence we may have caused. Where not shore how your order got miss placed hair? But were looking into it. Wheel chip it write out fro you too day fro our wear house. Thanks for undertaking!
Spell check has no problems with that quote. :laugh:

I might possibly be one of the worst spellers in history. I got my degrees using spell check and grammer check with Word Perfect. I will not use anything now. It's making me stupid all over again when I do. This way I will still mess up, but I have to take the time and think about it. I find that as long as people know what I am saying that it's good enough. Truly bad grammer is a distraction, but this isn't English class so I am really not too worried about it.

Technically, aren't all smilies similes? No, I suppose they're symbols. But ...
Since I (obviously) am fussy about such things, I also shift-F7 (thesaurus) on any word I'm not sure of.
is most definitely a dang dondaboom dangling ending of a sentence with a preposition oopsy ... red pencils, anyone? En guard!

Yes, I ended the sentence ["...on any word I'm not sure of."] with a preposition. My high school English teacher would have rapped my knuckles for it. The alternative, however was: "...on any word, of which I'm not sure." Sounds stilted. Touche!:D

I like clarity in communication, not stuffiness (although I realize that some perceive me as stuffy about this...stuff, so to speak).
