The problem with such a choice is you're not allowing room for the vapocalypse preppers. We prep so we don't have to make that choice.
EMP tomorrow, I'd load up pipe tobacco no problem although I might push my meds wearing off before I'd start using it. Smoke corn silk, possibly just to see the smoke, and I could always dose it with nicotine.
I would also start working on making a generator to charge batteries with. I guess if I was a good vapocalypse prepper would have solar battery chargers stored in a lead lined box. Better add that to my Amazon wishlist. My car charger was after tornadoes and wouldn't work once the gasoline runs out.
I have some high nicotine pipe tobaccos sealed away I could make NET from.
I still have about 8 oz NET I made from Captain Black pipe tobacco when I started vaping.
I think we ought to concentrate on learning which food flavors we can use for vaping
since flavors seem to be what the gub'min minions will be attacking next. I bought some Madagascar vanilla pods

Plus I don't think they could hurt DIY flavors too much because they are also food flavors. They might have a problem if they say testing for bad things is banned. At least a PR problem.
What I was looking at for my wishlist was 10,000mAh for $19. I definitely need one or two. 25,000 is a bit more.
It makes the USB powered battery charger I almost got look better.
The Shiny's at one time were contemplating having a camp meet or something; we decided to erect a windmill for charging our batteries.
Keep it in a cool dark place probably several years. I prefer to buy by the gallon so don't worry about it.
Okay, I get that. But what’s the scenario in which there is no way to vape? Complete apocalyptic destruction of everything we know? I mean really, who wants to survive for that? Modern life is hard enough. No dry beans and bomb shelters for me. I’m the event of, let’s say, full on nuclear war, I’ll be standing on my roof, hoing to go first. Geronimo!
ya have to be careful though..I bought some excellent tasting butter pecan food flavor
but there is one ingredient in it that would wreak havoc on delicate lungs if vaped
Similar to me except I'd enjoy the apocalypse if I could get meds.
Vape and survival prepping is easy. Medical prepper, DIY GMO with a home CRISPR doesn't sound like fun.
I wish I knew the honest answer. I would certainly do DIY as long as my supplies held out, I have an abundance mods and tanks.
If your question was to mean if vaping was no longer an option I'd like to think I wouldn't go back to smoking after being tobacco free for more than 6 years but I don't know that to be true. We'd all like to think we'd run into a burning house to save a baby but you really cant answer that question honestly until face with it, same for smokes for me.

I DIY my own juice and can make my own coils so I am not to worried. But if it really comes down to it I would just stop. My nic level is only 1.5 so that will not be a problem. What would be hardest is the hand to mouth habit. I smoked heavy for 45 year and never intend to go back.

Several people I know vape unflavored but I personally don't like the taste. I started messing around with naturally extracted flavors way before Big Brother started discussing taking away my candy.. just for kicks (and because I'm "frugal" (spelled cheap)..for example the vanilla I mentioned, ginger roots, raisins...ETC, and by now I'm also well stocked in commercial flavors anyway so I'm not very worried.
