I'm just curious about opinions/experiences with buying vape stuff on e-bay???

I see that some folks buy batteries, atty, and other vaping utensils on e-bay. I've thought about doing that myself but I'm leery about what the quality would be. So I'm just curious to know what others think about getting their vape stuff from there rather than a well known supplier. would you give it a or a?

I bought clearos on Ebay. One died; I cracked the tank on one; and I gave one to my roomie. I wouldn't recommend clearos from Ebay because you never know if they're fake.

Never had a problem, but I always know exactly what I'm looking for and do a lot of research. Also, I look for the sellers with lots of good ratings from buyers.

Yeah - there is a lot of crap, and some borderline scamming on ebay.
But also some deals.
So if you KNOW what you're looking at, it's worth shopping there - but i would read descriptions VERY carefully (for brand names), and I'd read comments, and look at feedback ratings, etc...

The quality is going to depend on the eBay seller, 100%. Just because it's on eBay doesn't mean anything. It could be total junk or it could the good stuff.

Some reputable online e-cig vendors also sell their stuff on eBay but they they usually don't sell it cheaper there unless it's a close-out. eBay takes it's cut out of the purchase price so they usually sell cheaper at their online sites.

A lot of stuff on Ebay is drop-shipped from China or the cheapest model around. My gut feeling is to stay away unless you can verify the quality.
The problem with feedback is that a lot of new vapers will make their first purchase on Ebay. I imagine a new vaper with limited experience will not know if an item is sub-par or not.
Saying that i managed to buy 2 ProVaris with chargers and batteries from Ebay at a huge discount (Provaris in the UK are 50% more expensive than the US)
So in conclusion; Caveat emptor

If you know what you are looking for and check the sellers ratings, there is nothing wrong with buying on ebay. I have made several purchases there with no problems. Good luck!

Hey everybody, I'm lovin all the great input. This is one of the many reasons I love the ECF.

Basic stuff on eBay, I don't think twice. Kanthal A1 32 gauge wire isn't going to change, although I do check seller's rating and reviews and won't buy anything unless both are good. The same with silica wick.

I'd tend to avoid batteries and tanks, pretty much for the reason above. You don't know if it's fake.

IDK, I have gotten quite a few things off ebay with good results(Brass Sentinel, Smok Mini Octo, genuine Iclear30S with working serial number... and probably more.)
