So, what is the amp rating of a AA battery? How will you know it is safe to use with a 0.5 ohm atomizer?
I'm not so sure how wise this would be, because AA batteries are a different chemistry from the li-ion batteries we typically use for vaping and probably have a vastly different (ie. lower) current rating. @Mooch?
So you are taking for granted that the manufacturer has done all of the R&D and knows what they are doing? OK, if that is good enough for you. It isn't good enough for me.The mod uses N-MH rechargeable AA's as well as standard alkaline AA's, and the pre-built coils designed for the device are 0.50 Ohm.
So you are taking for granted that the manufacturer knows what they are doing.
I'd feel much safer knowing the continuous discharge rating of the battery I'm using so that I can use Ohm's Law to be certain its safe to use a sub-ohm coil. I've used NiMh batteries in a mech mod before and the battery life was horrid.
I would have to mix for my cousin and uncle as well. She's at 12mg and he's at 18mg. Would need 2 gal the unmentionable mg probably.LOL that would last me a few lifetimes.
Of coarse you couldn't vape, that's not the question. The question is would you go back to smoking? It's not my thread, so I shouldn't have even bothered, but I thought that's what the OP meant. Not that you could sneak it or doing it behind backs, but hypothetically couldn't at all. What do you expect people to say? If vaping couldn't be done period there has to be a reason. Laws don't have to be followed. Any apocalyptic reason would also have cigarettes gone (funny how movies always have cigarette paper still being made and tobacco still grown when society is in total collapse, it wasn't that long ago pipes where what people smoked which is much more likely even if it was stuff other than tobacco like dung). So if vaping couldn't be done period the answer is not vape.
I could see tobacco being grown. It was one of the best cash crops for centuries, and I expect it would be an excellent barter commodity in a SHTF scenario. As for the cigarette papers, I think you're right; people would revert to pipes. A usable pipe is trivially easy to make from a variety of materials.Any apocalyptic reason would also have cigarettes gone (funny how movies always have cigarette paper still being made and tobacco still grown when society is in total collapse
I'd like to think I wouldn't, but don't have much confidence in this. I need my nicotine.Of coarse you couldn't vape, that's not the question. The question is would you go back to smoking?
Pretty sure I would as well. The only thing that could stop me dead in my tracks vape wise is uncharged batteries.I loved smoking - but I didn't like the health risks, the cost and the smell on my clothing.
Vaping fixes all of that - so that's why I vape instead.
If I couldn't vape - I'd smoke
As I am fully stocked for the rest of my life, I would ignore the law and vape on.
With the FDA talking about removing nicotine from cigarettes that would eliminate the return to smoking for me...if they go as far as making vaping illegal, I'd probably either keep on keepin on with my Vapocalypse vaping like I have been for four plus years, or make a big mess someplace that would place prominently on the seven o'clock news...What would you do if vaping became illegal. Would you return to smoking cigarettes. Or would you dip or chew tobacco? I'm just curious what you would do if you could no longer Vape?.
. Thanks in advance
I'm calculating my Alternatives should this turn South. I'm hoping to vape peacefully for the rest of my life but I am concerned with the latest shenanigans with anti Vape undertones. Just curious what you would do
Ditto. Worse case scenario is I run out and start jonesing for nic so I cozy up to a few people here on the board, find out where they live and rob them. Yeah, I'll be nice about, I'll empty their nicotine into a thermos and replace it with PG or VG so they don't know. Even though I am a large man, I can move like a jungle cat. Sure, it's a super bloated jungle cat but a jungle cat none the less.
I know it's a silly question on my part because it's just not going to happen but was just curious. I think it's a tough question to answer , and most just say try and stop me but really don't want to answer because it's a hard or tough thing to imagine going back to smoking.....thanksI'd like to think I wouldn't, but don't have much confidence in this. I need my nicotine.
Just a friendly PSA (because you quoted him), don’t start with @Rossum if you decide to do that
