OP, please do take my advice on the 1000mah eGo kit. & do get 1 that comes w/clearos if possible.
and remember everything I told you about extra clearos, extra juice, extra heads, and an extra bat if pos.
But I will add that you may want to buy a variable voltage spinner/twist if it is available to you as 3rd bat.
And I will also add that I think you should order your things from a website that BurningRose can give.
Only because I trust that she'll have your best interests in mind in terms of shops, being from australia.

kslac, hi - nice to meet another Aussie here. I smoked for 35 years and have been vaping for 9 months and love it. I recommend not buying juice from China. Some of it is apparently ok but it's hit and miss. You can buy the genuine eGo gear from Vapebar.com.au in Perth. (And yes, I agree this is the best gear for beginners.) There are other Aussie sellers as well. Best place to go for info is the Aussie Vapers forum. As for juice, I'm mostly a DIYer so can't really advise on ready to vape juices, but off the top of my head Mt Baker Vapors in the U.S. seems to be a popular vendor. Their prices sure look reasonable.

Howdy Plumes. Yep.. eGo & clearomisers.. way to go. Although I had no end of trouble with stardusts leaking. Vapebar in Aust. has the new Kangers in, kslac. Ppl seem to be happy with them and I'm keen to try them myself. I've moved on to torturing stainless steel mesh for my genesis atties, which is a whole new level of Nintendo, but I still love my eGos when I go out.

Its ok. The juice will be zero nicotine. You may or may not like the stardusts.
Everything else is ok. I'd suggest adding one of these to try:
Kanger EVOD MT BCC | Vapebar | eCigarette
They are better quality than the stardusts.

Sounds good to me kslac, and kiwi wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction. one 650mah and one 1000mah for out of the house.. I mean, I guess its a good idea to try both sizes. You might want to splurge and get yourself a 1000mah spinner/twist battery if 1 of the australian websites carries them. Having a 3rd battery is always a really, really good idea in case 1 of your batteries dies at a bad time.

and as far as everything else, I agree with kiwi and rose. use the australian website for your gear and kiwi or rose will hopefully (if they haven't already) direct you toward a good website for your juice by tomorrow evening so you can order. I think the kit above will serve you well for a good long time. and since its from australia, the shipping time will be less, so you don't need to order more all at once really. You'll just need to get yourself some e-liquid that actually has nicotine in it and you'll be all set and ready to become a real proper vaper!!!

I did that and vaped away on their zero nic juice till my real juice came from o/s, though i can't say i like joyetech juice that much anymore.

definitely consider getting a twist/spinner variable voltage battery when you go for an extra one.
It'll be a little treat and I promise you, it'll be your best friend, everyone likes a good VV vape now and then.

But from the sounds of it, everything you got is perfect. Your on your way to never smoking again.
and the best part is, that a week in, your gonna be like "I feel like I'm cheating...." ahahaha.
Your literally going to feel like your cheating. "quitting is supposed to be hard!" lol.
NOPE! Quitting with e-cigs, as you'll soon see, is more like stepping up to something better. By that I mean healthier.
(and tastier, yeah, I'll admit it, it doesn't taste half bad either, lol)

Newbee here. How do you figure out the nicotine strength? The site like only says High, Super High, etc. Is there something I can't find?

The best way to find out what strength those liquids are is to ask the vendor.

Well im a newbie as well and i just started Vaping about a week ago (havent smoked a real cig since), i think i got lucky with my first pick - eGo-C with 1000mah batteries and a Vivi Nova clearomizer and i am pretty happy with the setup.

I was also a heavy smoker (25-30 regular strength cigs a day) so i bought 24mg which was kinda a little much nic even though i was a heavy smoker - im happy with the 16mg and im thinking of even trying some 11-12mg juices.

IF for some reason you are not happy with the vapor or TH (throat hit) - Try a dual coil, or lr 510 Attomizer with dripping the e-juice. I kind of wish I has started with some type of really good cartomizer, but I started with regular atty's instead...and now I can't go back. I'm forever in search of a cartomizer that gives the same feel and hit as a really great dual coil atty on my ego battery.
CONS for Attys: you have to drip waaay more often, AND they burn out with yucky taste or stop working a lot sooner than cartomizers and the good ones cost a lot more than the cartomizers too.
BUT - if you aren't getting the th that you need to stay off the cigs, try a 510 atty first. (crap, double check you can use a 510 on the eGo C, I just have the regular 900mah eGo's.)

emily, you might want to try a bottom feeder mod, google or search for them here.
REO or the VMod would be grreat for you since you love atomizers so much.

You also might really like clearomizers, especially if you modify them to splash drip.
I do it all the time. Just take the cover off of the coil head and splash juice into it every so often.
Pick a clearo up when u get a chance and give it a try sometime!
Only con is it can leak if you forget to put the silicone coil head cap back on before tipping it or putting it in ur pocket.

Hiya kslac - great stuff! Glad the ego works for you, and yeah, once the nic juice arrives you'll be really set.
You might want to try taking slower draws if it gives you acough - a bit different to how you draw on a cigarette.
