Even though we don't always like to admit it there's always that one vape purchase we regret, maybe many! Then there's that one that either blew away our expectations or turned out to be exactly as advertised and is the best purchase you made.
My regret buy: Vapecige VTbox dna250C, I'm actually selling this. No offense to anyone that owns it, the chip meets every expectation, it's the tacky design I regret.

My best: Paranormal 250C, just ordered from Toronto

Waiting to hear yours! You might help someone avoid something regrettable or help them decide on one. :pop:

I regret buying the innokin MVP, which became a paperweight. But It was good while it lasted, and it was a good starting point. So I guess I don't regret it 100%. I've spent a considerable amount on quality gear, and I don't regret it one bit. The savings of not smoking the last 4 and a half years vastly life outweigh what I've spent on vape stuff. My best buy was the Erlkönigin. I do regret selling my provari.

Regret; a second Sigelei E1 before I knew it would crap out on me in a few days...same day as the first one I had bought the day before crap'd out. Awesome device while it lasted. Issue; kept thinking the battery has low voltage and kept lowering the output or refused to fire.

Innokin Zenith mtl tanks are my best decision(s). Perhaps the TPD approved version is my favorite. Lots of production while sipping e-juice.

I fell for a couple of reviews and bought a pair of (older) Joyetech AIOs, just over a year ago. Completely & utterly nuts! Not remotely MTL - more like a windtunnel, and a hot one at that. Don't regret much since they were cheap.

The best? I hope it's yet to come, but I like the kit I've got. I finally picked up a full size Nautilus - just to have - so I'm chuffed about that.

My biggest regret was purchasing what some on this forum really are in love with (just kidding) lol.... That was the over-priced vaporfi products that never lasted very long. Been so long ago I can't remember the exact products but I purchased a couple of their vape pens. I didn't know any better way back then lol.

Regret: Innokin AIO, Chalice V3 clone, Apex Alpha Ultramax, Smok Bolt, Vapage Vmod.
Best: Beautiful BT-804, Kebo Russian 91%, Draw Tube, Ego W/F1, Rainbow Heaven GG clones, all the REOs, AW batteries, UD AGA-T, Rayon.
Only regrets since 2015 are flavour concentrates.
    Cheers

Best buy, there have been many over the past 6 years. As technology and competition advance the industry our expectations grow accordingly. Lately I would have to say it's the Freemax Mesh Pro tank (even with temp related leaking) it really just works as advertised. The Aegis Legend and Vaporesso Luxe are tied for 1st as the mods that drive my Mesh Pro.

Biggest regret after countless purchases of vape gear, 5 SMOK Alien starter kits. Good deal on bulk purchase. They are on the closet shelf behind my backup stuff. I don't use them, it's just embarrassing. I'd rather have a sister who worked in a house of ill repute than a brother who vapes SMOK gear.

Biggest regret buy - aspire pockex. Bought it as an upgrade to my first vape pen an innokin t18. Despite the pockex being sold as an mtl vape pen, it was much more of a DL device.

I did end up using it 6 months later as a farm/work mod, and enjoyed using it DL.

Best buy - sxk/sjmy doggystyle RTA. Cost $12, first RBA. Blew me away with the flavour from my very first build.

I've loved learning all about coils and wicking with this RTA. Worth its weight in gold :w00t:

Regret: Blu (rechargeable). Even with the social features , it's su-u-u-u-u-cked (for me).

Best: (tough one)... I'd probably say the old EPMs (that are still going and going but only for maybe another year or so).

Idunno - Like I said, that latter one is tough for me.

I know why they named them Blu. It's the color one's face turns trying to get a decent draw from it.

No real regrets as I tend to do a lot of research before a buy, but saying that, I do purchase alot of rta's and mods and it's not that they break down, but some wind up not being for me. Since I mainly purchase higher end gear, those that don't work out, I sell or trade. For me personally, buying and selling on certain FB groups is part of the fun. Thinking about it, I did buy a mini volt thinking it was cute and it didn't last too long, also bought a couple kayfun mini v3's clones for the wife and both were really bad, but they weren't very expensive.

Biggest regret was the vaporflask squonk. Total piece of crap. A $300+ piece of crap at that.
Best purchase? Right now, I'd say the Billet Box with an Exocet. I absolutely love it. But to be fair....I've only been using bb's for a couple months. I've been using squonkers almost exclusively for 5 or 6 years.....so maybe a reo, cc or SQ. Dunno....too hard to pick a favorite squonker.

Regret- most of the products I bought with the name "smok" on it.

Best- This one would be different on the day you ask me. But the Vicious Ant Stabwood Spade, Anchor Nano, and Purge Ultem Squonker were all purchases I would make again and all of them get used frequently.

Regret buying a "MyMod" - after following the product development here on ECF for like a YEAR, it was $100 and just got a few things wrong. Then I paid Catfish Atty Mods to change the contacts and bottle connection, and it worked for a while, but then started a bit of leaking - in a proprietary 510. All by a maker who DISAPPEARED after the initial run. Still might fix it up and put it back in rotation, but it was a letdown initially for sure.

Best? Probably my first Reo. It's still in regular use years later, and it started me on mech squonkers, which remains to this day my preferred (almost 100%) way to vape.

Started vaping August 10th 2012. The beginning of September there was a big Labor Day sale (my first sale) on the liquid I was using...bought 20 bottles. Hey, I was excited about vaping since I had quit smoking after 40 years. Turns out, a few weeks later my tastes changed and I hated that liquid. So I gave the liquid to my son-in-law since I didn't like him much either.

Best purchase was that very first sleek silver cig-sized Volt starter kit with cartomizers. That is what got me off cigarettes. When it finally died, I framed it and labeled it with my quit date.

I regret buying most of my low end mass produced chinese stuff. And not moving to squonking sooner.

Going to ignore mods for now, but for RDAs, my most regretful top 3...

Profile RDA is my #1 regret. I hate it.

Wasp Nano. Rebuilt it a dozen times, take a dozen puffs, put it away.

Iconic RDA. Got this to try squonking. Delayed taking up squonking because it gave a bad impression. It's garbage.

Here's the review I gave on the profile:

So here's my problem with the profile RDA. It's like if you took a kid that grew up in Africa spending half his day catching mosquitos so that uncle Bobbert can make some mosquito burgers. The kid gets used to the taste and texture of those wings and legs made crispy by oil collected from the driveway of a corrupt government official. This kid, wide eyed and enthused, shows up at Pearson and is picked up by auntie Ginette. Kid says he's hungry, auntie Ginette obliges. Because it's somewhere between the hours of everything is closed and I-stayed-up-way-too-late, the only place open is a 24 hour Wendy's that's staffed by a woman that has less teeth than toes. This woman serves the kid a heat lamp cured slice of ground beef in bread that's so stale it's threatening to put melba toast out of business. The kid loves it. He goes crazy. Why? Because the only thing he has to compare it to are the mosquito burgers that made uncle Bobbert famous in his home village.

The profile RDA holds up alright when you first set it up. It's passable. Then by the time you're done filming your review and writing your first impressions you start showing symptoms of malaria. By the time you finish picking the loose pieces of cotton off the front of your t-shirt you're dead or too far along to save.
