Hoping there's a way to buy a kit with different strengths. Only smoke 6-8 analogs a day, 2-3 packs/week, so maybe starting at 12 or 18 would be good? Haven't bought anything yet, just doing research.

Look for a vendor who sells a.sample pack. You should be able to choose both the flavor and the strength, so you could.get the same flavor in different strengths or different flavors in varying strengths. Depending on your device and your method of inhilation, you should be able to find a vape with the right amount of nicotine delivery in flavors.that you like. :)

I smoked 20-30 Winston reds a day for 30 years or so. Started at 24mg; my 1rst 10ml bottle. Horrible tobacco flavored garbage from a local b&m :p Found another store with a better flavored juice but they only had 18mg. I took it! Been at 18 ever since. About 90 days now. I smoked a few packs of analogs in the beginning but I've been completely smoke free for 2 weeks now with 0 cravings.

I started at 24mg. I really wish e cig stores here in Houston would stop pushing ppl to buy low mg. I don't know if they are trying to save a buck or if they think they are doing ppl a favor by limiting their nicotine consumption, but what happens is a new person gets the 12mg and after a few hours comes to the conclusion that vaping can not satiate their nicotine desire then they give up on it altogether.

E cig vendors need to FIRST realize this market would not exist without the nicotine. This is a nicotine delivery system. If you neglect that aspect of vaping you harm the market, as with every disatisfied customer you have another potential anti-vaper willing to go along with any anti-vaper propaganda. People love to be told they're right.

Thank you, that makes sense. With the 24mg, you just need fewer puffs. Aren't the cartomizers the same cost regardless of mg? I don't want to give up on vaping, so maybe I'll go with 24mg.

I was a 20 a day smoker, started out on 18mg and found most times it was more than enough however there are those times when you still feel like a cig and I got some 24mg for those occasions and it has worked very well, any time I feel like I need more I just fire up my 24mg kayfun take a few hits and that usually sorts me out. Kicks like an Elephant but that's usually what I want at that stage :)

You'll feel it if you are taking in too much nicotine, you'll get a headache or nausea or just feel a brief bit of off. Drink some water, take a little break, and adjust accordingly.

Good advice right there! ;)

It still amazes me that after years of smoking 40+ per day I settled straight for the 12mg juices. Anything stronger was just meh!!

Trying to figure out the best setup that looks like a regular cig where I could order multiple nicotine levels. Now flavours, that's a whole other game. Thanks.

I was a heavy smoker for 43yrs when I chose to start vaping I went with the 24 since I love my morning throat hit with coffee then I ordered the 18's for afternoon and such..even when I have my supplier mix up my favorite flavor we do an 18..I think for myself the flavored would taste better if I did a 24....I am temped to just try a 5ml of 36 just out of curiosity...

I started at 24 because I was a 2 pack a day smoker.I was able to comfortably quit with a 24. I'm still using 24 now but in the near future might lower it. It all depends on how much or how little you smoked. If you were a pack a day I'd start at 18. If you found yourself having cravings then I'd bump up to 24. But if you were a 2 pack a day smoker I'd definitely go with the 24. Hope this helps.

It does help, realsis & thanks for sharing your experience.

I'm happy that you were able to kick your 2 pack per day habit & hopefully you feel better & life is prolonged.

I smoked a pack to 1 1/2 pack a day of ultra-ultra lights for 35+years. I started at 6 mg. After about 5 months, I started mixing the 6mg with 0 mg for most of my vaping. I still keep some 6 mg, just in case I have a craving. But, because I tend to vape, a lot, the lower mixes do well for me. Good luck & congrats.

I smoked a pack a day of M's Ultra Lights, and 12 was just about perfect for me, both with regard to nicotine (tho I puff on my pen a lot more frequently than I did the Marlboros) and throat hit. The 18's (which I do have a couple of) are a bit harsher and therefore less pleasant for me. I do use the 18's once or twice a day, since I still am experiencing some strong cravings for a smoke. When a strong craving hits, (or, alternately, an out of the blue snarky/aggravated reaction to something silly) I quickly grab an 18 tank and take several puffs, then switch back to 12. Has been working, since I have yet to go back to smoking. I suppose the throat hit issue may have something to do with PG/VG ratios as well, not sure.
