Ouch! I just made ANOTHER mistake, and I cant hide behind "noob" status lol. I really like the igo-L, it is smaller than the w and my mod is small. However, it is setup for single coil only, so I wanted to drill it to take dual coils. Well im sure alot of you know, just the drilling alone is pretty rough, I have a good drill, and good titanium bits, still broke 3! Still not my mistake though, although I did learn a drill press is not needed, but preferred. My actual mistake was drilling the hole directly across from the other hole, like an igo-w. I should have drilled the 2nd hole making them at about 10 & 2, instead of 3&9. Honestly, it still chucks vapor, but who knows how much more id get if the holes wer perfectly lined up. Hope this helps someone NOT drill their dripper cap the wrong way.

First time I ever saw an ecig was in Los Angeles and my cousin hands me a ego twist with protank 2 mini mid day after using it and loving it, I notice the vapor production is getting thiner, obviously the battery was dying. Anyways, not knowing what unscrews what, I end up unscrewing the protank base apart from the actual tank allowing 2 or 3 mL of liquid all over my hand. I was so confused since I've never even handle one of these devices at the time haha. That is beyond a n00b move to me

Mistakes are life's best lessons:)

Unscrewing the wrong part and having juice leak all over my vv 3.
Laying my unit down only to end up with juice on my tongue.
Buying too many plastic iclear tanks with wicks, because they're cheap. No longer care for long wicks now as they get in the way for me.
Over tightening parts.
Buying things I may never use.

This is a wonderful community here at ECF. If you're unsure about anything, just ask.

I stopped at an E-Cig store in Clarksville Tn and bought an emode. I didn't have a clue what I was doing and the staff was polite but not too informative beyond what the equipment did. I took my first hit and it did nothing but gurgle and pop and tasted horrible from the splatter. I was committed though, I found a site that provided some useful tips on partaking the vaping experience including drawing techniques. After reading up the article I was able to enjoy my ecig a lot more effectively. I must say, it would seem to be beneficial for entrepreneurs of these business to take a little more time with newbs(it's not hard to pick them out) to ensure the best experience and establish a good business relationship. Thankfully I just was not going to give up lol.

unfortunately I did the same thing, what upset me the most is I would take a few puffs of the blu then go "that was nice, now time for a cigarette". it wasn't until about 6 months later when I picked up an emode that I got the satisfactory alternative I had been searching for.
Starting out with Blu e-cigs. If I had read more on ECF and done my research, I think I might have started with something better.

Another: buying too much stuff - 808's, 306's, spinners, vv gripper, mvp, vamo... I could go on with cartos, clearos, BDC clearos, .. I think you get the picture. But so many choices, and I'm not sure I would have appreciated the things I like now had I not bought all this stuff.

Stockpiling coils that I later found were simple to rebuild and better after rebuiding.

Gladly for me I'm not into looking like a steam locomotive trying to climb a mountain. My goal was to simply get away from cigarettes, I enjoy the act of smoking but was looking for an alternative to stinking and having my taste buds fried. Also the variety of flavors out there is amazing, i'll never try even a quarter of them but it's nice to know there is a lot out there to keep the variety interesting.

I set one of my Tritons down on the coffee table one night and couldn't find it a few minutes later. Since i had been drinking a few beers, I shrugged it off and continued with another.

The next day, my GF found it on the floor in another room, the battery and the mouthpiece were chewed up, but fortunately the tank was intact. Apparently, our Lab had snatched it up...

When I first got into RDAs and mechanical mods, I was gaping 18-24 mgs on my evic with my aerotank...I made the mistake of dripping 24 mg of nicotine on my atomic RDA on my first build and it FLOORED ME!! LOL. I now 3-6 mgs consistently on my mech mods and RDAs, 12 mgs MAX if I need an extra kick in the morning. If you're getting into RDAs...lower your nicotine dosage!!
