Well guys what's most important for me is the durability of the mod , how long will I use it before it will stop functioning for whatever reason.

I'll be honest , I'm a bit scared of mechanical mods but if I got no choice I will buy 1 but I also heard that the VAMO is built to last for a very very long time and there isn't much to concern about how long it is going to survive.

what do you think?

dunno where you got the idea the vamo is built to last; maybe it's more like an ak47 for simplicity and availability of parts;

For durability in a vapocalypse you'd want a mech with a kick option.
If you want to spend the money you can get a provari or semovar.

Oh wait: actaully, if you can only vape at home anyway you can do like me and vape off a radioshack adapter

My Reo will outlive us both. I'll donate it after my demise it's that good.

Probably so! My Provari shows no signs of slowing down after 2 years and a couple of months of daily use. I sent it in for a tuneup before the 2nd year extended warranty ran out and they replaced the switch and returned it looking like new. They also applied some black silicone sealant on the slots on either side of the board to minimize movement. When it was new, that wasn't there.

If it breaks sometime in the future, they charge reasonable prices for out of warranty repair. I don't know what i'll do if my Sigelei Zmax breaks. If I can't fix it, then I'll shop for something else. Outside of needing a new board, I can fix it myself. It needs a new fire button microswitch right now. If I get bored, I may order one and replace it.

My advice is to buy a well built simple mechanical mod.
A SS king clone for example, and learn how it operates.
Mechs are extremely basic, primitive electronic devices.

I can build a simple copper mech from Home Depot parts for under 30$.
The first mods were "modified flashlights".
That's why we call them mods.

The genie is out of the bottle.
They can't stop the clouds.
It's way too late for that.
