.... So, no, not the right shop for me.

So sorry for that. In the German forum we have a guy who buys their products and is happy with them, this is why I had the idea to share *his* experience with you - but what you tell me is of course quite sobering. - Anyway, this whole Jwell business was not an answer to your question.

If I were a beginner and knew what I know now, especially considering TPD regulation, I would buy myself a Provari, just to be on the safe side. Probably not the P3 but the Provari Classic 2015 as it is considerably cheaper and has everything I need. I would know that to produce a considerable amount of vape one does not necessarily need high wattage and/or low resistance, so I would keep my hands off everything subohm-ish in order to avoid high temperatures.

No worries, I suspect it also depends on the salesperson too. And on me, I admit, may have had a bad day then, or come over as a weirdo (happens often). These Provari seem to be really good as they get recommended often. Did you buy yours online? Will also have a look around the German forums, because a) that TPD stuff sounds scary, and b) it may help me find more retailers that ship to Luxembourg.

Yes I did (buy online). And maybe the King of Luxemburg could help you find retailers?

If I had the vaping knowledge I have right now I would have skipped all the cheap boxes/cig-a-likes and gone straight to the sx mini m with a waterproof (like the defender invader) mod for on the go/as backup.
I would also go straight to DIY liquids.

If I didn't have the vaping knowledge I have right now, and was still a noob. I would now skip the cig-alikes (I had the e-rol, evod and emow) and start with the Istick 40W with a nautilus mini.

I've become a hobbyist and I'm always buying new devices and atomizers weekly... so picking one that I WOULD buy would just be too broad of an answer.

I know what device I never would have taken a second glance at, tough. Cloupor's T-5. Mine didn't turn into a brick (right away) during their "BOOM! Suprise!" event, but died eventually.

If I had known of their existence, I would have gone to a Reo Grand. It is what have been using daily now for 6 months and I have never been happier with any other mod than this. Bottom fed atomizer is, IMO, the way to go.
Very glad you mentioned this mod. I had never heard of it. I'm definitely going to buy one to add to my collection!

With the exception of Cigalikes, I think I went the right route with Ecigs. I went Cigalike, Ego, Vamo, then branched out to the hobby side with mechs and higher powered mods. I don't think it would go as well if I tried going from analogs to a Sigeli.

So, if I were to start over, I might pass the Ego and suggest going from Analogs to a Vamo. I don't regret not getting a higher priced mod, since I have outgrown the 15 watt Vamos, and I still haven't reached the price of one Provari even after having bought three of them. (one I gave away (vamo V3), it still works, one broke(Vamo V5-stripped 510), and the other I still use today(Vamo V7)

I also think I got lucky with the Sigeli 100w. I wanted to go to a dual battery, and the Sigeli 100w works perfect. I am still using the same center pin that shipped with it, but others have had problems with it's reverse threads. It's scratched from pocket wear, dented from falls on the floor, but it still works perfect.

So, if I had to do it all from scratch, I would go from Analogs to Vamo 15w then to Sigeli.

The amount of different MODS you lovely folks are mentioning is kind of mindblowing...
I had no clue at all tbh, started with a very basic french ecig 6 weeks back, and didn't know this entire vaping world even existed. A colleague saw me suck on my shabby little cigalike (which did help me kick the analogs to be fair), he sent me to a shop in Germany for my first "real" gear, and said gear then made me want to know more.
Overwhelmed, excited, and very happy to have found a new hobby. And to have overcome my monstrously huge social anxiety, it's really the first time I dare posting on a forum, so thanks for your help, kind strangers.

I definitely would have skipped the blus, njoys, and egos and just got an istick and nautilus to start. Is it the biggest, best, shiniest, newest, coolest thing on the market? Nope. Does it do exactly what I needed it to do? Yup. Is it easy enough for a complete newbie to figure out? Yup. Would it have saved me $100+ if somebody had put this in my hands instead of all of that other stuff? Yup.

Me again
Am so enchanted by this site and all the amazing people on here, thanks for having me :)

I know I'm still only at the very beginning of the vaping quest. But I have saved enough money in 6 weeks to acquire a new toy, as a form of backup. I have an istick 20w with an Kangertech Aerotank V2. Which I love. But I was given an iStick 50w by a friend, with a subohm Delta II tank, that I simply cannot handle (yet), even after reading my way through how-tos and quite a few reviews on here.

So, what would you buy if you had to start again, but knowing what you know now? I only need 6 mg of nicotine, like fruity tastes and lots of vapor, if that helps.

Hmmm, i'd say an IPV4 box mod (165 watts), 3 Zephyrus RTA's, half a litre of 72mg nicotine base liquid (250 mil of VG, 250 mil of PG), five litres of Vegetable Glycerine, one litre of Propylene Glycol, about half a litre of various concentrated flavourings, some 22 and 23 gauge kanthal wire, some organic cotton and a dozen Sony VTC4 batteries plus an Xtar dual bay charger. Oh and a lot of paper towel and Q tips.
Myabe get a Provari and an authentic Kayfun for tooting.
