Not really a "newb" mistake but a big bonehead move, I took my new genesis atty to work(also my first one) and the coil was wrong and popped with 6 hours of work left. No wire, no back up.

One spring from a ballpoint pen, 2" of pullcord from the hood of my jacket, and I'd be McGyvervapin
this started with the blu, then to a ego, then a lavatube, wish i would have researched more and just went with the lavatube from the start.I spent too much money on underpowered underbuilt devices.
I wish I'd started with my extended provari. It would have saved me a lot of money.

Even us veterans are prone to noob mistakes, for example....
I've been vapeing my E-Power since it hit the market, and I've been pretty happy with it!
Well, I decided to try one of the new variable voltage mods on the market called the VAMO,
Figured I'd save money by buying batteries for it from a well known online auction site to save a few pennies.
Come to find out, Protected lithium Ion batteries aren't compatible with it!
It needs to use specific batteries, ie, flat top LiMn's... (Reordered some of those today)
Not only that, but the day after I ordered my "Gunmetal VAMO",
I found a stainless steel one I liked better called the EGO Bamboo! (Should be here today)...
Now I have a bunch of batteries I can't use (but, I've got my eye on the 18650 E-Power)
Live n' learn I guess![]()
