I am gutted I missed this thread.
Apollo? a bit too expensive... unnecessarily so. (Sorry)
18mg - should be perfect.
fasttech liquid? Not great. You might get lucky and find one you like, but it's needles and haystacks. The clearomisers are not recommended unless you order the genuine brand items.
I don't do fastech (that's just me)
but many many people do and other than slow shipping times
seem to have fairly good results
NOT REALLY SURE, but it seems their juice does-I THINK- ok
from ECF'ers comments...
I just don't know enuff to steer you, sorry![]()
No problem. I'll give them a go. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
What is the juice that tastes most like tobacco to you?
If you got good eyes, the heads are rebuildable too:
This.I suppose the right answer is only you will be able to tell.
I wrote a long post, but lost it, so I will say good luck, and welcome.
I smoked appx15 lights a day, and 12mg is working for me.
I just started on dec. 28th. My nephew came to visit, quit analogs in late August, and brought his e-cig gear with him. I asked him a lot of questions. He let me use one of his mods to see if I liked it, and the rest is history, albeit very recent history. LOL
I smoked analogs for many years, and can't believe how easy it was to switch to vaping. (For me)
I have an ego twist and an iTaste vv. I like both, but the iTaste is my fave.
I used to smoke 40 cigarettes a day. I got some 48mg nicotine from Indigo Vapor (which was recommended to me by my local vendor) and then mixed my e-liquids to 24mg strength. After a couple of days I was able to cut back to 3 or 4 cigarettes day and about 10 days later I quit all together.
I am looking at dropping down to 18mg next time I order and hope to quit all together within the next 6 months. I already feel better in the mornings and things that would cause me to be out of breath in the past are easy. Defiantly a big improvement!
thank you to everyone for the advice.
Got my ego this morning and from the first toot i could instantly tell this is for me. Such a nice and clean flavour. Loads of vapour too. I tried the classic tobacco juice in 18mg first and found the throat hit a little harsh. Then tried it in 12mg and find it just about right. Then tried the ry4 in 12mg and that was just right too, although i find the caramel flavour a little overpowering and sickly. Will probably use the 18mg for the first vape in the morning and when i'm stressed but use the 12 for an all day vape.
I woke up at 7am and forced myself not to smoke an analog until i got the ego. First used it at 8.30am and it's now just gone 3pm and haven't had the urge for an analog in the slightest. It's like normal cigarettes never existed. I am so happy. Will soon be able to get my stamina for football back to where it used to be. I'm sitting here vapping as i speak and the clean flavour is just heavenly.
my dad tried it and loved it too. A 50 a day smoker who ordered a kit immediately after trying it and will hopefully kick the analogs too.
these things are a godsend. A bit early days i know but i see no reason why i will ever smoke analogs again. I've thrown my baccy in the bin, some may say that's too premature but i'm so content with the nictone hit i get from this i don't see the need for a cancer stick.
Would like to thank everyone for the kind welcome and advice. Such a fabulous forum. Rest assured you'll be seeing so much more of me, this is just the beginning of my wonderful trip into vapeland.
Cheers![]()
yeahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! double whammy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you guys.
I think I'll get 18 and 12mg then. Going to get a normal tobacco flavour and thought I'd try the RY4 as that's supposed to be very good.
Very exited to try vaping for the first time I must say. Love the idea of getting so many different flavours, clearomizers etc. Wanted to get a more advanced E-Cig so I can top up with E Liquid as well as a better battery life. Any of you had experience with the Apollo Ego?
Here's to hopefully many years of vaping, a life without analogs and better health.![]()

Oh man, come on. I'm only just starting, trying to exercise a little restraint here lol. This vaping is worse than fishing
I think I'm set on a Vamo though for an upgrade in the future. Will look more into the MVP though.
I didn't do too bad on the Apollo really.
Got 2x 900mah batteries
2 clearomizers (got a few more from another site for backup and going to get a protank mini 2)
10ml of juice free. Got 10ml of Classic Tobacco, 10 ml of RY4 and 10 ml of Razzle
Used the 25% off code so got it all for £38, don't think I did too bad really.
